I was in Calabria for 3 weeks towards the end of July and the weather was the hottest I’d experienced in years! It’s definitely getting hotter each year. It was around 36-38 degrees every day

I started out about the same time as you with a SolarEdge inverter and LG panels with optimizers. Same deal where the inverter failed under warranty alter about 5 years. That EG4 18k is next for me with a battery back up and hopefully sending my power company zero energy by that point. You have an enormous amount of money invested in that so 👍🏻.

Hello from West Virginia, U.S. I enjoy your videos so much. I just finished watching this one . And the next one that came up was from 2 years ago. It was in a town called Pitrissi not sure about the spelling. My grandfather was from Cenadi I've tried looking it up on line they have a web site but I don't speak fluent Italian. The only thing I did notice the population has really dropped since the last time I looked it up. He had 2 brothers that he left his home and his olive grove to. About 10 years ago there were 2 families that were still living in Cenadi his last name was Ciancio. And from over the years to my understanding the last name is very common like Smith is here in the U.S. I know I'm asking for a miracle but, if you are ever going to video other small towns in Calabria and are near where my grandfather was from I would appreciate it very much. I'm 71 years old and a widow and just too old to make that trip. I had the chance about 15 years ago I had this chance to go to Italy a very dear friend of mine is from Rome and was going to a family wedding and wanted me to go with her and she said she would take me to Cenadi after the wedding. But, like a dumbass I didn't go. Well, sweetie I really do enjoy your videos and just think of what could have been. God Bless and keep up the great work your doing. Showing off Calabria. Oh! You went to Calabria for calabrese/ italian food and all you see it's food from other countries and no Italians/ Calabrese food. Mah I don't get it. The best is that the food from the foreign countries is cooked by Italians.

Lido. Many pizzerias, cafes with not only a bustling lungomara but a fantastic new massive park opposite of the mariana. Also the largest outdoor market in the area on thursdays.
So fun!!! 😍 Random question about the waves: Does the Ionian coast or the Tyrrhenian coast differ on size of waves and choppiness? Wondering if one coast is safer with toddlers than the other as far as calmer waves at the beach. (I’m from FL and we always said the Gulf was way calmer and easier with kids than the east coast ocean beaches)
So interested in this topic! Our kids attend Montessori school here in the states, but I am looking into the schools over there before we move there. Would you be able to do more video about children’s education, like the different private schools etc? It’s such a huge part of moving with a family, and I’m having trouble finding info online about all the schools in Calabria as many don’t have websites or reviews.
