CityStudio Vancouver is an innovation hub where City staff, students, and community co-create experimental projects to make Vancouver more sustainable, liveable and joyful. CityStudio Vancouver launched in 2011 as a collaboration between the City of Vancouver and the city’s 6 public post-secondary institutions.
CityStudio Vancouver is the first of its kind in Canada and unique around the world. It is part of global shift in education that provides practical learning experiences to help students get jobs and change the world. CityStudio is a social innovation where students get credit by co-creating solutions with city staff to help solve the complex challenges of living in cities.
But which tribe was there before the Coast Salish? War and Genocide between tribes was a common occurrence throughout First Nation history. The notion that the same tribe was there for 3,000 years is disconnected from reality. Further, who was there earlier then 3,000 years ago? It is important to know who was there first if we’re going to talk about who was there first.
Anti-Asian community lost over time....but many older folks of that time shared their convictions like bad wallpaper in the kitchen. I feel for the Chinese people hope things get better....
