Isiah, you made a gazillion shorts about big penultimate and quick 1-2 Plant for maximizing vert. Guess what muscle brings that block foot next to plant foot as quick as possible?
Love your podcast, it's very clinical which is great. Im also a Jordan sneaker collector as well, is there a way that you can pan your camera further so we can see your Jordans as well. They're awesome. That way we can also see your entire lower extremities when you explain the exercises especially when you're demonstrating the exercises and anatomy. Thank you, you guys are great!!!
The point of going quarter is that you can go very heavy due to to the lower ROM. Just don't go crazy, go up like a normal lift, start with medium weight to warm up, you should be able to feel if you can go heavier, have a spotter too
Poor title choice. Not a single exercise was demonstrated. Change the "HOW" to "WHY" and add "the reason will surprise you" in the thumbnail to get that clickbaity virality.
Excellent explanation, clear and to the point - particularly for individuals which are not exactly aware on the mechanics for jumping higher and the hidden potential of tendons. I knew many people who trained in all ways and never really improved significantly their jump because they weren't tapping into the specific potential of their tendons. That said, genetics plays a very important role on how much you'll actually be able to improve your jump. Some people are blessed with long, strong and stiff tendons so their baseline jumping ability, one foot or both, with little or no training, is extraordinary. In that regard, not everyone can aspire attaining a 50' vertical. But then again, maybe just the ability to actually pull off a simple dunk here and there may suffice for some individuals to feel rewarded for their training.
Bro the backflip pisses me off Lol my homeboy used to do that shit in horse. He couldn't shoot a shot to save his life but if it came down too his possession its game over. Lol None of us could fly like that. Best I could do was toss the alley-oop and swing one hand on the net then dunk it with my other hand and hope I don't bust my ass. 😂
You guys are young. I will be 66 in February and I still try to dunk after every practice on Monday and Wednesday and Friday. And I put 1 down and had my wrist over the rim at West side park in Seymour Indiana this past Monday 🏀🏀
