I’m professional drummer and was in few punk rock bands and hard core the band is called fits in Miami Beach we played with misfits and black flag and circle jerk and also dead Kennedy. It was great experience and had lots of fun . Met all big bands you are absolutely right.
What I've noticed with my style is I like things to contrast nicely even when they're dark colors. If a pair of pants is espresso brown, I might seek out a dark grey tee shirt within the same shade family. One curve ball I wasn't expecting is other than Anime tee shirts, I tend to have a lot from Vietnam. If I had my choice I'd probably go for Killstar or Hot Topic though.
It seems like punk fashion these days is kind...non specific? The tricky part is balancing anti-authoritarian fashion with not getting so lost in the punk sauce you ignore things like food or ink safety. For example one soft pastel supplier turns out to be toxic, if you don't take precautions like rubber clothes and proper ventilation.
It gets to be in the 90s here. There is no way to layer without suffering. MAYBE a very light linen oversized shirt or something. But anything polyester (even sheer) will be horrible and smell bad from sweat within an hour. But yeah, I've tried and it's just not possible. I wish I lived in a place where 80 is considered to be the hottest and the UV index didn't reach 9.
I found your channel today and I agree with SO many of your points . I would like to more of your pieces and how you style them in outfits. 👀 I would especially like to see you styling outfits for the summer, because I find it difficult to pull off a modest, all-black outfit while not dying of heat.
FR, the “cores” GOTTA STOP. It’s gone WAY out of hand at this point. Ppl be putting “core” after anything and everything possible. I’m scrolling through a list of cores at this moment, and ISTG… “Chromecore”??? “Rainbowcore”??? 😭😭😭
Ok I'm genuinely curious about your opinion on WHY core culture needs to die? I'm not that smart, I need you to spell it out for me if you want. Huge fan of spicy hot takes!
what i believe it means, is that we people stop categorizing themselves and stuff around them, to just wear what you want to wear without needing to have a name
what top four you smoking; my top four is shein , shein , shein , shein In all seriousness, great vid; for the next vid you should tackle the idea of the ever so omni-presence of fast fashion and how its practices are now considered a staple in modern high fashion , and its dwindling quality of garments. Not necessarily seeking solution to it but more or less what you as a person can bring value to a garment you own and not put pressure on yourself for missing out or other attributes that leaves you insecure etc.
