Feel your pain here too Captain. I'm useless at this game get spanked on world class, but at times on professional difficulty there's quite a substantial gap in skill level and i find that a lot more doable. doesnt help i play on the PC version though and the game seems to constantly lag, so its not responsive when controlling ur players. What i can suggest though is trying to put the tactics on dynamic i think it is, so at least the AI will tactically react at it's best, and i think there's also an option to toggle player based difficulty. which from description makes star players of the AI perform at a better level. hopefully it'll be a bit more enjoyable to play at that level.
If you want a more realistic and fair gameplay, don’t use competitive mode. This mode, if i‘m correct, tries to mimic e-sport players and we all know they are far away of playing realistic.
In FC 24 the competitive mode option was in the game settings and in the match tab from accessing the settings via the game's home menu, just check if competitor mode is off before taking that difficulty down, remember FC 24 and FC 25 are the first games to add this setting calling competitor mode as a feature or a setting option so I'm just saying just check next time you fire up career mode
Just out of curiosity Joe but was watching this gameplay and I know you've been annoyed for the past 3 streams. I'm just wondering your difficulty is set to world class correct? I'm also guessing when you played previous FIFA games in world class the AI have not been so competitive correct? check your competitive mode has not been selected as the competitive mode being on improves the AI a hell of a lot
i have realised how important putting your tyres on LIGHT in the race it makes a huge difference when you can pit 2-3 laps later after the car infront goes in on the same tyre as you but has 41% wear and your on 49-51% wear. it has helped me finish in the top 10 more in my season 2 playthrough
The reason you drivers get slow during the race is motivation. If they quali very high, but the car has no race pace, (your car is a qualiy car) they loose motivation and drop further back. Better to quali low and make up places. Nice win in the end...
This was a satisfying double podium and victory. It's a shame the developers don't have a scan of Kimi's face. Honestly, just have the driver with his helmet on there. It looks goofy, but we miss out on moments like that.

What do you have the AI behaviour on custom, dynamic or tactical? It’s a new setting. Also noticed you do not have player based difficulty on unsure how much an impact it has it’s been in fifa Ea fc for years apparently makes star players stand out by playing a level above which is realisic
No wonder he won 7 Championships because the FIA doesn't want to do anything against, just like the real thing. Danny Ric gets a penalty for hitting Hamilton in what WAS a racing incident and then when Lewis goes in very deep and locks up and rams into the side of Mick, no penalty. As good as a driver as LH is, he was gifted some of those championships and the game is clearly just replicating it.
I would still consider replacing Danny's race engineer (or Piastri if you decide to sign him for next year). At this point with car development, the personnel will start to make a difference.

You should try Tiebreak tennis again, you now can choose to play without the L2 and R2 movement. The Djokovic challenge is also been improved with the possibility to change AI difficulty
