What change did you feel from the Dimarzio microphones, the ones it originally came with, less noise, more gain, more clarity. What are your impressions?
My impressions on the Super Distortion in the bridge position are more powered in clean tone, less brighter and more mid-enhanced and nuanced in distortion tone, compared with the stock yamaha P-90.
I'm in the process right now of installing a super distortion at the bridge of my Revstar Rs 502. And I'm also using a Duncan vintage p90 at the neck. Did you follow the standard wiring for the super distortion? Or did you have to reverse a couple wires for it to be in face with the Seymour Duncan?
Yes, I followed the standard wiring for the DiMarzio pickup after checking the phase with a multimeter. The phase was the same between the DiMarzio and the Seymour Duncan pickups.
