This channel is about my 3 Pontiac Firebirds. The 1970 Firebird base model is being converted to a TransAm. I am in the process of adding a mini-tub, 4 link rear suspension, narrowed rearend, new front suspension, 525hp LS3 with 6 speed auto transmission and 6 point rollcage. First videos of the conversion will come soon. The 1974 Firebird Formula 350 is a showroom looking restoration inside and out. The original 190hp smog engine has an added 4b carb with functioanl RamAir hood and air cleaner pan. It has a factor 3 speed automatic transmission. The third Firebird is a 1999 Firebird, FireHawk, it is one of 225 made that year in Navy Blue Metallic. The FireHawk model was modified by SLP for GMC. It has a functioanl RamAir hood and 4 speed automatic transmission with limited slip rear differential. The suspension has been lowered with stiffer springs, larger sway bars and Bilstein shocks. A SLP Loud Mouth cat back exhaust has been added.
I can remember a Car and Driver road test of the Firebird SD 455 HO in the '70s. They billed it as (I think) the last muscle car. If I'm right it had around 290 bhp, a far cry from what the likes of the Z28 was producing just a few years earlier. This looks like it will be one Hell of a recreation. Greetings from the other side of the Pond.
@@pontiacbob99 I think if you rework the titles and just put in what you are doing in the episode and drop the chapter bit, you will get even more viewers and more comments :) So in short try to explain what happens in the video with title & thumbnail. Great content otherwise, I am sure that many people will enjoy it. :)
