i installed mine and when i want to play music using carplay there is no sound, and i can see MMI bluetooth is showing the song but again no sound? also my mmi screen flickers/goes blank, but carplay works 100% without flickering... how do i fix these issues? thanks

Wow!! After readying @reallywontsufferfools1620 remark, I will NOT be removing/ replacing the original radio on my Fiat 500c 2012. I also want to keep it all original but if not for the nightmare issues this person mentioned, I would have liked an upgrade. Oh well .
ok to all those thinking of doing this , you need to understand changing radio will cause blue and me module to stop working , which means stearing controls wont work. it will also drain battery. you need to discn module reprogramme it to ignore then it wont drain battery. its at side of rear passenger seat.in car.you cannot just didcnn module.
@@THESPICYMEATBALL93 you need to ring round dealers until you find one that understands problem. im in ireland my daughter practically ran every dealer until she finally found one that totally knew the problem . if your in uk there is one on internet.

Just fitted one and I noticed after watching this video that he’s taken box behind the radio out (the one the radio actually sliced into out) as it doesn’t fit and now just sits in there loosely 😮

The odometer flashing problem can be solved by resetting the canbus type. a.First mode: (XP04) Video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-60SjJLnip4Q.html Go to Settings from Menu - Vehicle Settings - Factory - enter "Password Factory Default (000000)" - Model Selection" - "Simplesoft" - "Fiat" - "XP04". b. Go to "Vehicle Information APK" → "Dashboard Configuration" → "Model Selection" → "Select Type 1 or Type 2 or Type 3". Try the selection one by one until it works. Then turn off the car radio → remove the car key → close the door → wait half an hour → turn on the car and start the car radio. This will solve the problem. (Pay attention to the steps and waiting times, this is very important!) 2. If the device does not turn on after connecting the cable, just swap the connector of the small 2PIN cable (low configuration vehicles do not need to connect the Canbus box). postimg.cc/8sz55pW7
hello, i installed one on my ford fiesta, but i have a problem, the parking sensors don’t display when i go in reverse, they do when something is in front of me, but never if it’s behind me, while if something is in front and the display triggers, i can see both front and back perfectly… any advices?
Does this allow for music to be played through bluetooth, aux cables are mentioned on many mods for the 8v but most phones dont have aux connection anymore.
Hi. I’ve got CarPlay installed in my a3 but no sound. I didn’t have a usb cable to attach to my CarPlay box. If I used the mmi usb cable in the arm rest and connected to audio through aux, would that solve my sound issue?
After installing the LCD screen, my mileage meter started flickering. I read online it had something to do with Blue&Me, which obviously doesn’t work anymore after installing the LCD screen. How do I stop the meter from flickering? Anyone experienced this?
