Dear Paul Ashman. Thank you for your imazing video. I hope that one day I will have a change to finish Festive 500. I like your comment about cycling. I agree with you. Enjoy your life a Merry Christmas. Miloš, Czech republic
Thanks for sharing... Im all about taking it in at the pace life offers... Some times i crank it up,,, other times I slow it down... There's none of this """got to get it done""" when time has no meaning... The only time that matters on my rides is the ones in which I get too view the sights sounds and aromas around me... Life's views from the top of a mountain just after a heavy rain is the best... Who wouldn't like too stop and enjoy those Treasures... Cheers from Western Canada Don 🇨🇦
Thank you very much! Rapha is a cycling clothing brand, and they hold a competition each year called The Festive 500 where they challenge cyclists to ride 500km from Christmas Eve to New years Eve
That’s Snap Hill which is from Aldborne to Ogborne St George and is a good climb either direction. Most people I know call it Snap hill but I believe the road is Copse Drove - Matt
The mind unplugged. The mind left to drift on its own. The first 5 or 10 miles I notice how many miles I've traveled. The last 5 or 10 miles as well. But the miles in between, almost no matter how many, pass in a blur of landscape, random thoughts, and a free floating mind. Truly a wonderful experience.
Love this video Dan. It’s so easy to get into that. Got to get faster go further. But. I’m only starting to get into cycling. After a few years of Tabbing. A lot around the Brecon Beacons. As much as I’m trying to get faster and further. I’ve never lost that ability. To just stop. And take in-the country side. And relax a bit. Crack on 💪💪💪💪💪
thanks for sharing your story, it's something that's relatable to me, and how cycling could be enjoyed without having to rush in and performing great, it's slowing down and enjoying the adventure, getting to new/old places, and falling in love with the process. Looking forward to more of your work.
