I have been a scrapbooker since 2002 and have recently found Diamond Painting. Join me while I enjoy scrapbooking, card making and diamond painting (DP).
I love this pharmacy kit. When we travel, you can be sure it is after hours when you need cough drops, paracetamol, tummy tablets or ointment. Carrying just a small amount gets you through until the next day. 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
I’m watching this more than a year later, but I had to laugh every time you said “so the cat doesn’t eat it” 😂😂😂. I have two cats and so many of my storage decisions are made with them in mind. Especially since one of them loves to eat paper, I mean that literally. Great room!
As to people staring at you when you enter the room, I hate to break it to you, but you’d have to deal with that even if you weren’t disabled. Face it, you’re gorgeous.
Good to be aware of these annoyances. I’m sure many people weren’t aware of some of them. Talking to someone with you instead of you is inexcusable in my opinion. Like you’re incapable of conversation? Or maybe it’s due to their assuming you have speech problems? Not good. As to people asking what’s wrong with me, I think sarcasm would be my weapon of choice. I’d have some particularly stinging comebacks at the ready. 😅 “What’s wrong with YOU?” springs to mind. But I know you’re too well mannered for that.
Great to hear these experiences. They all serve to allow people to truly get over the fishbowl effect where they feel somehow separated from the disabled and somehow lose sight of their humanity. Like when people touch you. Ha. I’m sure that can be uncomfortable depending, but really I’d chalk it up to true affection and feelings towards you. It’s hard to explain the emotions that come when seeing a disabled person. I think it’s ingrained to be sympathetic, protective and to want to help. But I can see how this brings unwanted behavior like touching, helping without being asked, etc I know us folks without visible disabilities can be frustrating, but I hope you realize where it’s coming from. Your efforts are a great help to make people conscious of how to interact with those with disabilities respectfully.
My blue wagon? It is still a must have for crops and retreats. I think I bought mine at Costco but they are everywhere now. Here is one at Wal-mart that is very close to the one I have. I hope this helps. www.walmart.com/ip/Folding-Wagon-Beach-Carts-Big-Wheels-Heavy-Duty-Steel-Frame-Shopping-Cart-600D-Oxford-Cloth-Collapsible-Utility-Wagon-2-Mesh-Cup-Holders-Garden-Picni/208448132
What a lovely craft room ,love it. Your daughter’s art work beautiful and your diamond art work beautiful. Can’t wait til the one on the closet door is finished , it already looks amazing. Great video, very inspiring, thank you !
I love your video, and your story is very inspiring. You shouldn’t have to apologize for being well stocked especially in these days and time you never know a new subscriber.
I have about a month now! (Yippy!!) What really helps with keeping up with the stock levels is not only setting time aside to do the prep, but to make the prep as easy as possible. A purchase I made this year was a food chopper off Amazon, only about $20 for the cheaper option, and comes with attachments! Chop onions, carrots, and potatoes (really anything but those are my main chopped veggies) in record time and your hands don't hurt after! I also got a small pack of bag holders so I can just have bags ready and waiting for me! (Comes in handy when handling meat!)
It looks like you have a bar hanging from the ceiling for a camera mount. How is that attached to the ceiling? I’m looking for a solution like that but my new studio is going to have a drop ceiling. Ugh!
Ours is attached into a stud with larger screws / bolts that came with the camera mount. I wish is was just a tiny bit longer because I have to use a step stool to line up a shot but other than that it works perfectly for me. I love that I no longer have "camera shake" while filming and creating. In my old studio we had this mount attached to the wall off to the side.
If you're doubling the thread back on itself to get six strands, you're not getting twice as much product. 😉 You separated out into three but then double it back into six... 8 m is 8 m is 8 m-No matter how you tear it apart and put it back together lol. I think your hair looks adorable!
It's the memory that matters, not the layout. At least that's what I tell myself what I make when I don't like but I've spent too much time on it to just trash it and start over lol 😂. I would have had trouble with these photos too, I have no idea what I would have done with them but your layout don't look as bad as you think they do. We are always our own worst credit - I love the bright colored stars!
great video. have you considered the dish racks for cabinets to give you more space. Been using mine for years and they work great and are collapsible.
I found my obsession because i wanted a light pad. I googled light pad uses and diamond painting popped up!!! Im on my second one!! Youre a dp prepper!!😊😊
What a well thought out space! I enjoyed it and will copy several of your storage solutions. I was a CTMH consultant for over 10 years & loved it, but moved out of state & didn’t want to start over. I spent today painting my empty nest bedroom for my craft room &am so excited to get it set up & craft again! Many blessings to you.
I bought a plug on ebay with 8 different sizes and there some with up to like 11 or 10 sizes all you do is look for the tip that fits best. It's easy it worked for me plus I use it for almost everything
If you have a good quality kit - squares are great! I have also thrown out half finished kits from Ali Express because the drills were driving me crazy.
It is sheet metal. We have it attached to the tables and it provides a perfect work surface. Easy to clean. I do not cut up my table when I accentually forget to use a craft mat it is also magnetic. We have been using it has my table surface for almost 20 years now.
Thank you so much! I still use this bag and this kit for all of my travel. We just went on a 16 day cruise and let's just say that I needed to restock when we came home because of how much our party of 7 needed it's contents.
