I thinl i permanently dented my airfilter vertical edge because i had to take it back out to switch air flow direction, because this video is wrong. Just fix your video, please.
I agree not easy to do -had to place some plumbing tape on the screw to hold it in place then screw it in -not sure if brackets are secure -ha but it want fall out -after i torqued the little screw in 😅

This is a joke. Lexus lets you access it just by dropping the glovebox hinge. Not disassembling the whole thing. I wonder is the process the same for the new Z since the dash is a carryover? I have a 2024.

Toyota wanted to charge me $65 for installing a cabin air filter. Bought one for $10 and installed it in less than 5 minutes total time. The $55 for 5 minutes of work comes to $11 per minute, equaling $660 an hour.
saw a guy at the dealership do this by just taking off the glove compartment door (no tools needed) and just removed the one screw for the filter housing door.. am I missing something?

I have more than 2 bolts on the bottom. One i couldn’t find and i am having trouble putting the glove box back in place as i think i failed to remove one of the bottom bolts. What hideous design!

The Chevy "engineer" who designed this should be raped with a cactus. Stupid design. But yes, it's so a Chevy dealer can charge people $80 to do it. I just ripped the glove compartment door off and completely destroyed the pins. It fits back into the hinges and the cord is attached, so whatever. I'll be able to change the cabin air filter in just a few seconds every time it needs to be replaced. 😂
