Never work with just a jack. I had a BMW fall to the floor from a jack which I was moments before sat underneath. Scary shit. I use axle stands and stick the tire underneath now.
was alright, but a demo of the fixed door would be good. I've only ever heard the audi A2 door creak and crack, so I wouldn't know what I'm missing out on.
That’s was the down side of working outside on a very windy day , just above freezing, but 12 months later the repair is still good , so I would call that a win! , thanks for your comments
Can you please help me as my Audi a2 is doing the same as yours and saying the same codes but iv not got the senses on the Aluminium pipe so where would mine be on a 2002 1.4 tdi thank you
@@boytom999 no and dont call him surly, would been nice to show us how to remove the caliper also as he edited that bit out which was the most useful part for me, now i got to go watch how t remove a caliper then come back
Hi , sorry for the delay in replying, You tube has just informed me of a comment … i had 3 bits of dust shield , which you can see in the video , so you may be right !!, but 2 MOT’s later and the tester happy so who knows !
Excellent. Just did this. Never thought about it, until I saw this video. The door was sometimes not closing, and I had to slam it about 3 times before it really locked. Now it closes very nicely.
Great video, when I have done this in the past you could pop a screwdriver (flat head) between the fog lamp grille and the centre grill and it pops out, saves messing with the centre grill.
John Westwood hi john , thanks for your comments , looking at the “ middle grill , there are 2 small clips which hold the outer fog lamp cover in place , as always you find a easy way to do things the 2nd time around !
nyanyalee1 hi , thanks for your comments , I have a later TDI , which will need a fuel filter changing , and will upload a clip during the summer showing how to clamp of the fuel lines , bleed the air , and replace the pesky drain plug !
