Dear, I don't however it's not that hard ... I only used some wood, drawerguides and a small engine of an old electric battery powered drill that I could regulate, that's basically it.
not really to be honest ... we just used a 12 volt battery and an evening of testing combinations untill we got all of them. The ibiza is a pre canbus version otherwise it will be another game to reverese engineer. We just put stickers on the cables and continued from there. Everything works except the oil presure light

It depends on the type of car you have. Ours did not have canbus so there was an easy way of sending signals to the meeters. You will need a plan of the pinlayout of the dashboard (might be hard to get as carbrands are not to open on this information) after that you will need an arduino and depending on if the car is positive or negative controlled some transistors. Ours is negative controlled so we had to use npn thransistors to control via PWM the meeters. There is also a software you need to install that is called simhub. If you google it you will find lots of info. There is a video on the channel explaining more in depth how we did it

it was actually not a good car. It didn't pass technical inspection for multiple reasons. One was that the botto,m was fully rusted, the other one that the engine was bad and had very high emmisions.

Wel helaas was dit een one of project tijdens de covid lockdown. Om zo een dashboard werkend te maken moet je rekening houden dat het per model nogal varierend is, niet alle constructeurs zijn even open over de interne werking (denk ook aan kilometerfraude en dergelijke) ... dit was een pre canbus wagen waar alles nog relatief eenvoudig werkte en was uit te zoeken, volkswagen groep zet erg in op standaarden waardoor veel research al voor ons gedaan was en te vinden. Ook hebben we via iemand die bij volkswagen in een garage werkte een aantal pinout info bladen kunnen krijgen. In opdracht eigenlijk niet omdat ik nogal een pittig drukke job heb, Junior bouwt ondertussen rally wagens.
@@TheHaerlings Ik heb dus nog wel een oud volvo v70 dashboard, maar dat is dus best wel lastig om te programmeren. Heeft u misschien advies hoe ik dat zou kunnen aansluiten? Het is er een uit 1996.
@@JubelMusic ik heb kort eens wat opzoekingen gedaan maar er is nogal wat variatie bij Volvo blijkbaar. Belangrijk om te weten is of je een canbus versie hebt of niet. Vervolgens zou ik gewoon eens kijken bij een volvo dealer of die je de pinlayout kan bezorgen, er zonder is het denk ik vrij lastig. Ik weet ook niet zeker of het kan werken via de connector omdat veel afhankelijk is van hoe de electronica werkt. Als blijkt dat alles aangestuurd wordt van bv de ECU uit dan is het een heel groot werk, kort samen gevat komt het er dan op neer dat je de stappenmotoren van de metertjes moet los solderen, daar bekabeling op maken. Dan is het uitzoeken of je motoren negatief of positief gestuurd zijn afhankelijk daarvan moet je NPN of PNP transistoren hebben. Dat hang je dan aan je arduino en vervolgens kan je alles met speeduino configureren en testen zoals beschreven op hun site. Je kan altijd eens kijken of er geen electronica student een afstudeer project zoekt of zo want op zich is het geen rocket science maar je moet wel enige notie van electronica hebben.
