I mainly play a bunch of Playstation 2 games online along with some other older games on Xbox and PS3. I have a group that plays them every Saturday night and will post videos from that on here. I also keep up with modern gaming as well and will post some funny videos and glitches once in a while.
Me and my friends can't get it to work, when we try to join each others game, it jist freezes for like 20 seconds then its unable to connect, please help
What are you playing on? What region? Had no problem with NTSC with unmodded hardware. These games can be iffy though. The fan servers sometimes don't work right and we've had some connection issues with games here and there resulting in us resetting the game multiple times until we could connect.

I remember using this back in the day to play halo online before the master chief collection was a thing. Honestly very cool tech, it was a lot of fun playing halo MP on original hardware
@@SonicusZ Xbox Connect was so awesome. I remember using it to play Halo:CE online with friends before Halo 2 ever came out. we all had terrible internet tho so the ping was so bad. I remember having to lead sniper shots like 4 inches in front of the player when shooting across the map on sidewinder. But even on blood gulch most shots had to be led an inch or so
While I haven't tried the game out on PS5 yet, My guess is it won't work. I've played JakX on PS5 and that version doesn't let you use any network features.
Well almost! Never played the ones with the stupid skateboard controller. There might be a random side game I missed too but otherwise I've been playing Tony Hawk since the first game!
Man the days of server browsers and randomly making friends with people who liked the same servers as you. Not having to worry about your K/D or any stats at all. Not having to worry about unlocking the latest thing or keeping up with the meta. And not having an update completely change the game! Just hop on and have fun!

I actually love getting recommendations so thanks! I currently use an unmodded 60GB PS3 to play all these PS2 and PS3 games online, so I'm unable to play most of the games you mentioned at the moment. Urban Chaos looks like it'll work though however it's kinda expensive. I will keep a lookout for it though. Probably a good game to add to my collection as well!

Quick question, do you guys ever do any Xbox 360 games or have the consoles? I just ask because I feel like there are some great games on there with servers still up/bigger player bases with certain games and was just wondering? Thank you!
Thanks I look forward to you joining us! I would love to do some 360 games. Problem is that you still need a subscription to play them online which none of us have anymore. They even made it nearly impossible to use programs like xlink kai, which we use to play OG xbox games online. So sadly we probably won't be playing 360 games anytime soon.
No matter if I follow the Instructions to change my Primary and Secondary DNS. Can't go back to this game. I miss so much. It's a very fun game to play

my homie told me to buy this in late 2008. i found a copy super cheap in early 2009 down by the beach and bought it. i got home and played in about 15 games and all of them had this one dude obsessed with "roll tide" he added me after the games and even tho he hasnt been online in like 13 years hes still on my freindslist. feels weird.

It's rare to find people playing if you randomly hop on. If you ask around in some PS2 online groups you can usually find people interested though and you might even see people hosting an event here and there.
I know it's BS my mic didn't record! It usually records fine, I think an update reset my settings and I didn't notice. Well next video you'll get to hear my beautiful voice!
Never thought I'd see a new video for this mode ever again. Seems like the hit detection is a bit spotty, but the fact that you can get it running with minimal hassle is amazing in and of itself.
This is something very unique. I'm big time into these older online games and keep trying to add more PS2 games to our playlist. When I came across this I didn't believe it was real, but we voted it in and it worked perfectly fine and was actually quite fun to play. Even if there was some lag issues haha.
The official server was shut down. This is using a fan server but it's very easy to connect to. When setting up your PS3 Network settings choose manual for DNS simply set primary dns to 185.194.142.4 and your secondary to 1.1.1.1. I have a link to a video I made showing how to do this in the description.
Yeah this is PS2. It's not the official server but all you need to do to connect is select manual DNS when setting up your network config. Then enter 45.7.228.197 as the primary DNS. Then just pick that setup when in game and you can play online like usual!
My PS2 is modded to be able to play Jak X both NTSC and PAL regions...But every time when I try to connect to Cristian server, it shows me "DNAS error (-402) a PlayStation®2 disc error has occurred"...Any help?
People are still playing. As long as you got it setup with DNS 185.194.142.4 you should be able to just join up. There are using a couple good games going on the weekends along with smaller games going on during the week.
i remember this was gonna be a sequel to deus ex then became it's own thing. someone i had a falling out with wanted me to get this game...then i got it and my pc crashed and i left it there and never played it. heard it had a fun SP
