Great vid guys but if I had one observation, some of the tight shots, whilst dynamic, make it trick to see what’s going on. Great work though, keep it up.
Hey guys how did you get the hope floating rotor on the rear? I have a 200mm and the rivets hit the frame mounts, is there a way around this? I am running a i9 hub too so exactly same frame and wheels and mine won’t clear?!
I am 158 cm and want to be both agile on a bike, and also have the ability to go down big rocks and go over roots. Which bike would you recommend, scout, spire, or sentinel? Also, how would the rider's weight affect the suspensions? I am 40-41kgs.
Thank to Rope (hope I spelt that right) for all your help today in the shop. Your advice and expertise was really helpful. It was nice to meet a member of the staff so passionate and knowledgeable, who offered some easy to understand explanations.
@@WhyteBikesExperience i have made the best experience with a SRAM CODE paired with Galfer brake disc's and Trickstuff-Power brake pads these brake monster pair are working very well in performance-wise and visually in custom bikes :)
great video - question - whats the key to routing the rear mech housing and dropper on this? looks like it doesnt have tube in tube guides so is it a pain to route? can you explain how you did it on this video or hows best as it doesnt actually show how you did it, would be really appreciated before mine arrives so i know what ive got to do :) cheers!
We went from the middle out. Go from lower port on downtube up to the large port by the head tube. We used the natural curve of the gear cable where it comes out of the coiled box to keep the cable end running along the top of the chainstay tube which is helpfully popped right out the port before the mech.
Wouldn't this leave your BB super low and your HTA significantly steeper? Transition recommends 200m to keep the same geo. Looks really awesome though, and is what I'd love to build at some point.
Hi Michael, with a quick measure up in the low setting I have the bike the BB height measures at 325mm and head angle at 63degrees. If i'm honest the drop of 8mm from Transitions 'estimated' BB height hasn't given me any clearance issues and I only had 170mm cranks about rather than the OEM 165mm.
@@dhiraj_77 I would go for a Medium. I'm at the very top of a medium. I have a 210mm dropper that still has an inch of post above the seat clamp. I've built this as more of a park bike hence why I opted for the smaller of the two sizes.
I'm afraid this is a customers custom build we did for them. We do offer custom builds and have a few alloy Sentinels due in over the next couple of days that we could spec up for you?
I like very much the Transition frame in aluminum Patrol or Spire model.. I don't understand why you have the new Rockshox fork disassembled and changed the springs and some parts. I wonder were the original parts not good, or was the fork not fully assembled yet? Thanks for this video recension and answer to me.. Greetings from Switzerland..
Wants coil over air. Clearer trail feedback, more midstroke support, less friction, more consistent despite weather changes, less maintenance but heavier.
