I would be nervous getting a sweater for this purpose without being able to inspect the construction. Not all garments can be recycled because sometimes the sides are cut and you would end up with a single strand for every row. I am glad it worked out for you ❤

Pro Tip: When making the four chains for the leg spots, make the chains loose, not tight. If they're too tight, you might lose your mind trying to do the decrease like I did.

Everything was going okay, given it’s my first attempt, until I did the face 😭 I decided to use thread for the eyes and they looks so soulless and the mouth looks so sad 😭😭 I RUINED it and now I feel bad because I hate it 😭 it’s okay to hate your work as an artist but you can’t ever get over the feeling that you wasted your time only to mess up at the end 😭💀
