How quickly and often I am frustrated at hypocrisy, yet I infrequently make myself - in an act of self-reflection - the target of my analysis. I am struck by the pause described in Mark 11:11. What did Christ think and pray about that night before returning to disrupt the hypocrisy He saw in the temple? How many times am I oblivious to the things I do that put me in the exact same camp as “THOSE PEOPLE”?…or THAT FIG TREE? I am beyond grateful for amazing grace that applies to even ME!
