Hi Liza I really enjoy your Ravensburger videos! I have been looking to where I could purchase the Brunch Crunch puzzle, with no luck at all. Do you have any ideas where to purchase in the USA? Thanks so much!
My sister and I got the Pairs group A puzzle, it was really tough. We only got 298 pieces done, really wished we had gotten the group B puzzle to have a chance to finish it. But what a fun time we had competing as true novices. I still can't believe the top level of puzzlers and how they complete them so quickly. Was fun watching them when we weren't puzzling. Oh, and some other puzzlers told me about your channel, can't wait to watch more of your videos. Love the recaps from the championship and the time lapse videos. I'm really interested to see how you go about tackling some of these puzzles.
Thanks 🙏 I wish you got another puzzle, this one is really the most difficult in the whole batch. I'm looking forward to doing the others as well. And welcome to my channel 😍
Hi, is Ravensburger the best quality brand of puzzle? I am new to puzzling and I want to get the number one best quality. I know RU-vid can be a funny place because everyone will talk about a certain brand and then when you start buying and learning you find out something different. So I just wanted to personally ask. Is there another brand that’s the same quality that I can look into also. Thank you ahead of time for answering.
I really like Ravensburger's new ranges of photograph images. I'm tempted by some of the Beautiful Garden line, and the German images line. Just started the 500 piece glacier nature puzzle you showed - wish me luck, it looks difficult!
@@PuzzlesByLiza I've made a start on the Glacier puzzle - its not going to badly at the moment. Difficult but I don't think it will be impossible. Hoping I'll be able to complete it in a reasonable amount of time! I love the desert puzzle - that's on my wishlist for sure.
That was a lot of ugly puzzles. I do like the Dean Macadams puzzle, the VW van, and a couple more colorful ones. I don't know why Ravensburger produces such beautiful quality but depressing images sometimes.
One of my favorite things in the competition so far was the team named "Busy Birdies" that have graphics on their shirt/vest designed by Dean MacAdams. I recently enjoyed finishing the "Busy Birdies" puzzle due to your recommendation, and this brought back good puzzling memories.
Very smart of them to have some puzzles from certain collections. Not only is it an excellent showcase, but it makes me want to buy the whole collection of each set. I can visualize money flying out of my pockets now.
lol, i just *had* to take a look at the Beautiful Gardens series when i saw the first puzzle from it in this video . i'm surely getting some of them, if not all ...
Fantastic video! Thanks for putting this one together. Your analysis is so insightful. Fingers crossed that Ravensburger makes all these puzzles available in the US. I am looking forward to seeing the timelapse of Dean MacAdam's Trick or Treat on your other puzzle channel @PuzzlesByLizaRavensburger!
@@PuzzlesByLiza I have not entered the "raffle" for any of the new release puzzles from the competition on the USA website. Assuming that you win the raffle, the USA Ravensburger is not shipping these puzzles until October 31. It seems like you would get them quicker by just ordering them from Europe, and having them shipped.
Outstanding video from beginning to end. Great compilation of the puzzles at Worlds. Alejandro was probably born and raised in a puzzle factory 😂he is one of my favorite puzzlers😊
Great video! I loved your discussion on difficulty, and what were the easy/hard parts of the image. Anyone competing in World's should be watching your channels. You have shown all the released puzzles that were used at World's in previous videos. I will be interested in hearing what you think of the 1000 piece released puzzles used in the preliminary team competition. Out of this batch, Postcards from Paris is my favorite. There are rumors that all of the Ravensburger puzzles from Worlds will be on the US Website on Monday (September 23) for purchase.
Looks like they are going with all new puzzles for the individual and pairs semifinal rounds alongside all the finals. So 8 puzzles will make their debut. I have Postcards from Paris and Hello Vinyl, but haven’t gotten to them. Gotta collect the others.
Nice recap of all the puzzles, I watched most of them, but it's really nice to have a more relaxed review. I'm guessing by now you know it's unpublished for semis & finals. That's a treat for us too.
All very interesting to see these unique series, a good number of which appear to be unavailable now. I prefer to stick to the regular normal puzzles. Some of these puzzles appear to have been a bit gimmicky and not lasted long. I appreciate that there are people who like these types of puzzles and collect them.
I think over the years they tried different things and stepped away from them. If they didn't work so well. It's nice to see the evolution of the trends 🙂
The extra pieces in the Exit puzzles are because they need to very precisely position and cut the edge of the main puzzle so that the solution pieces match up properly when you pull them out to make a new mini puzzle, so they start with a slightly larger image so the internal die cut can be lined up exactly with the final image. (Sometimes if you get 2 copies of a regular standard puzzle you won't be able to swap pieces between them as the picture can be cut slightly off centre from each other.) Then they just cut and bag and the extra outside tiles end up in the bag as well. You can do the main puzzle and then put the extra square and rectangle tiles around the outside to see the whole original image, they are just not needed to solve the exit game.
Thanks again for a fun puzzling experience. I just finished Busy Birdies. You said that it was easier than it looked from the picture, and you were exactly right. There are so many small clues in the picture to help in putting together. This puzzle was like a good book that I couldn't put down until it was finished.
I miss the old Ravensburger Puzzles, the new ones are too easy 🥹 I want a 1500 piece puzzle with a cat dog or horse 😍 1000+ pieces of fur, I want 1500 pieces landscape photo puzzles, with a clear sky 🧩 I miss the old Ravensburger Puzzles from the 90's The new ones are too easy 🧩 Thank you! For your hard work, and I appreciate all your hard work with building a Ravensburger catalogue 😊❤ They should hire you full time 🧩 then you could do a database of every Ravensburger ever made 😊
Thank you 😊 You can still get some of the older ones. And the cat and horse ones are being sold for reasonable prices for the most part, mainly because most people are not interested in them. I like both kinds so I enjoy switching 😍
I need a video about *New" 2024 Releases in USA. Today, I found "The Forest Dragon Awakes" 3000 piece (12000808), "Dragon Day and Night" 5000 piece (12000813), "Eibsee Lake, Zugspitze, Germany" 1000 Piece, and "Tranquil Harbour 500". Are these new puzzles?
A few I hadn't seen before, very interesting. Some I have already bought, some is on it's way, and some I will pass (looking at you German & Austria collection) Love nature pictures, but not always fun to do. I was on the fence with Donald, but after watching you assembling and seeing it properly, it will definitely go on my wish list Of course I want to see what else you bought, it's always fun, and without you how would we even know what's out there from Ravensburger ? ❤
