I didnt know that the video is so cut. My headphones disconnected again. At the end, I had 8 Spitfires kills, I landed. And the game said that due to heavy casualties our squadron is withdrawn from war operations. 2 Bf110 took off, 2 Bf110 landed and the career is over. I looks like the game counts all your re-fly attempts. If you eat all the aircrafts at your base, the career is over. So I ended up the german career with 86 kills and 12 missions.
Falcon BMS is so amazing! Nice flying from your side! Im looking forward to see more BMS on your channel! By the way: you can turn off/on the pilot model by pressing ALT+C and then P. I'm looking forward to Version 4.38 of BMS, which will bring a new engine for the terrain. It's something to be really excited about.
Benjamin, thank you, that pilot model removal hint is pefect, will try it. Thank you. I have heard, that 4.38 will completelly change all the surfaces, cannot wait to see it. Now the runway looks like a glass, very smooth, shiny. This will be changed. Have a great day my man.
@@hubertk9051 Unfortunatelly my German career is over Hubert, I have eaten all the aircrafts on base. My last mission was just 2 aircrafts taking off, both returned to base, but it says at the end that due to the high loses our squadron has been withdrawn from war actions. I shoot down 8 spitfires, returned with my wingman, but the Hauptman career is over. You have to be careful how many times you re-fly your missions, it seems there is limited amount of airplanes for you.
@@MONTY-YTNOM That might be really frustrating. I don't know what helped me, I started all over again and again, and suddenly I am able to load my career without problems. Btw my German career ended, I have consumed all the available aircrafts. So you have to be careful how many times you Re-fly your missions, there is limited amount of own aircrafts. Once you eat them all, the career is over.
@@MONTY-YTNOM Nevermind, today I cannot load RAF career, it crashes into windows all the time. German career is over. And American career freezes all the time, when germans attack my B-17s. Looks like I have to end with EAW on my channel and move to other game.
@@MONTY-YTNOM There is a file called eaw.ini in the root directory of EAW. Backup is somewhere, or rename it to eaw.ini.old. Open the new file and simplz change the resolution manually to 1920 and 1080.
@@Iceman42nd Yes, very much. I used to play AF a lot. Today, there are only BMS and DCS videos everywhere, but AF still has its charm, especially with commentary.
@@Iceman42nd I'm just simple noob but maybe if you will be close to Stukas and you will fire to Spits which attack your Stukas, then maybe one Stuka survive? 😁😁😁😁I know other tactics and probably better tactics but but but even if you have 12 opponents only 2-3 attacks bombers at one time 😁😁😁😁
Loved this game back in the day. Still have the disc, unfortunately not usable. Will check GOG. Sadly missed sim, graphically and story/career were really engaging for the time. Thanks for showing. Also, the radio chatter tied into the action which made the game immersive. Gun sound effects were a bit lame but a classic flight sim'.
I think you have 1 or 2 mission like this to Oak Leaves, It's funny but your brick it twice effective as your Spitfire 😁😁😁😁plus additional points for grounds targets 😁😁😁😁 You can find planes on airfield, sometimes even 6 so this is nice bonus 600 points, and of curse my favourite radar towers 😁😁😁😁I saw those trucks few times but I always prefer to find something else, so thank you for confirmation 😁😁😁😁you can also find aircraft factory or shipyard but those targets need much more ammo, additional points are good for hall of fame or maybe promotion but to get medals you have just complete missions, I had 3 fails when my bombers didn't show up or didn't bomb target properly 😁😁😁😁so exceptional and good is ok but terrible and poor is not ok, even if you have 2 500 - 3 000 points, have a great day and may the power of the brick be with you😁😁😁😁
@@Iceman42nd I was on a ground target single mission in a Tempest. I'll upload it later. My J Stick batteries ran out at the end of the mission, :) it was quite funny
Not yet my friend, not yet. Training makes master of you. I am not going through all the training mission, but gonna highlight some of them, especially with weapons which are used and are useful.
I love your bombing style Captain 😁😁😁😁I suggest some Dyna Blaster for Sunday 😁😁😁😁thank you for inspiration and congratulations on your promotion 😁😁😁now you should have your own room 😁😁😁😁great rank now time for some medals too 😁😁😁
@@MONTY-YTNOM I have the Steam version as well. The TAB key doesn't bring you the radio messages? How do you navigate, how do you ask where you base is, where is enemy formation? I will check the settings on mine EAW just to see what key it is or what key it might be.
Thank you my man, appreciate your comment. To be honest, I think the same, it is very easy to shoot out the wing just with Spitfire IA 7,7mm machine guns.
@@hubertk9051 Thank you for that, now you saved it 😁😁😁. I love Allied Force, I love its complexity, and the real feel. Graphics seems to be still ok for ok.
I am using the Bandicam app for recording, and just now started to use Open Shot Video editor for editing. But need to learn how to use it properly, to solve the bad aspect ration of my videos. I have started to use, when I saw my F4AF videos, have to record main menu separately, then the cockpit video separately and combine them together. And this is not working as it looks like, I will need to learn how to do final video with correct aspect.
@@Iceman42nd haha well there is not much around there, it's a british airbase and the area around is legally a UK territory, so approaching the base, you technically cross a UK border. The Akrotiri peninsula is populated very scarcely, mostly it is a desert, beaches and few villages. It almost looks the same as in this 1997 video game. It also has a big salt lake where flamingos rest in february, this lake is featured in the game map. I live in Limassol (the nearest city). Limassol is.. well.. very expensive, boring and beautiful looking :) I work as a game programmer and my company moved me here as they opened a new office in Cyprus. There are a lot of game development companies since Cyprus offers good tax ratios and lots of specialists.
@@evgenkonyshock4913 Man, that sounds exciting, to work from Cyprus, where many people would like to spend some holiday time. Glad to hear such details about the reality there and the game from 1997. Really interesting :) Isn't there a Wargaming office as well? Now I am not sure.
I feel so sad about it, my friend. I don't know whether such memories are good for you or bring you more sadness and pain. If it harms you, I apologize for that.
US aircrafts have Combat flaps, so do you think that 1/3 flaps will also help RAF and Luftwaffe aircrafts? I will try that, at least it will allow me to fly on slower speed, and reducing the stalling risk. Good tip Monty. Very useful.
Really great intro to F4 Allied Force! This game still looks good and holds up today. Thank you for all the explanations and insights! The only thing I noticed is that the aspect ratio of the video is wrong when you are in the game (in the menu it is okay), but that of course does not take away from the beauty of this game. Looking forward for the next videos in the series!
Thank you, F4AF is truly a great game. About the aspect ratio, I have to somehow find the way how to fix this. Maybe I will start to cut my videos from several parts, like the briefing, flight and debriefing. I have to play a little bit with it. I see it normally on my monitor.
@@BenjaminSchiel Then it will change also the simulation, which runs perfectly in 1920x1080. I will just finish my training videos as is, but longer mission in campaign will be split into two videos. So you will see correct ratio.
@@hubertk9051 I definitely won't be seeing "in memoriam" awards 😁😁😁. You should jump into F4AF and just because you are more successful in getting medals than me, you will be awarded 😁😁😁
