This channel is devoted primarily to preserving the history of the Team Fortress mod for Quake. Now much better known from its Team Fortress 2 and Team Fortress Classic incarnations, Quake Team Fortress was the original class-based first-person shooter. Though not remembered the way that Quake deathmatch still is, Team Fortress had a large and thriving community in the late 1990s and early 2000s, and for a while was played more than any other mod, including original Quake deathmatch! As players moved on to new games, Quake Team Fortress stopped being played except by a few diehards, and was at risk of falling into obscurity. Several years ago, I decided to do something about this by performing video capture on my own match demo files and uploading them to RU-vid. Over time, many players have come forward and offered me their own footage, allowing me to create possibly the largest archive of footage of a single classic game in the world.
