You didn't miss anything. Nobody "tried to run them down." They came to a spot on a major highway where there was an exit lane. They moved across the exit lane without even looking over their shoulders. The second rider moved right into the exit lane, right into the path of an exiting car, who, luckily, was far more aware than the idiot on the bike, and who stopped in time to avoid the accident.
Are these older units dangerous for the novice user? I have no experience, but am interested in some 80's units like an AMA 120 I found online. The steam pressure and potential for faulty wiring makes me nervous.
I just bought one of these online and I’m very excited to use it. Had no idea how to use it, but thanks to you for making this video, I won’t look like an idiot while using it! So now when I’m using it I’ll be able to show off my barista skills, and let everyone know I make the best cappuccino (thanks to you)!!!
The whole point is to extract the coffee using steam NOT hot water. PV=T, remember? Pressure times Volume = Temperature. The greater the Pressure, the Higher the Temperature. So, your machine produces steam using the heating coil inside, the steam, when you lift your lever, rushes into the portafilter, contacting the (relatively cool) coffee where the steam instantly COOLS to become water again. You push down the lever, adding PRESSURE to the hot water in the portafilter/coffee and turn it back into steam. The ART here- and what makes a GREAT BARRISTA- is to get STEAM into the coffee and your COFFEE (as fluid) coming out into your cup. There is a very fine line (between steam and water) and you will learn to feel it as you get experience. Practice Practice.
With the music, with the season, you are reminding me of the pleasures of a German or even a Viennese Kaffee mit Schlagsahne, additionally accompanied with a delightful Sachertorte. Frohe Weihnachten to you both. Cheers.
ah so the chameleon has a sex change at the very end and transitions from male to female. i thought it was just going to die being "released" onto a palm
