I stopped watching arsenal in 2002, as arsenal decided to leave highbury Have not seen arsenal since, and never will again Highbury will always be what arsenal was for me, standing on the north bank as a kid For me, arsenal is dead, highbury is gone So i understand what these west ham fans feel like. Highbury went and so did my love for arsenal. So i know what you guys feel like, but off course for you it was west ham, and upton park. Your new ground will never replace the old stadium. Glad i will never watch arsenal again, no matter what they do. Arsenal for me, will always be highbury, remember my first game there paying £4 as a kid to stand on north bank So i know what you west ham fans feel like
Don't get to b*tchy lads as a nemesis rival fan you know I agree why moving home is home I hate Stratford personally I went to boylan ground good atmosphere. Karma came a bit me on the back side so at the time in 2010 London stadium was my client guess who moved in so whu became my other client until last year 2023 I've moved onto health care work the lads have been brilliant thank whu for giving me happiness and GRIEVE because I represented LS
Massive club Great boleyn upton park stadium BUT The club went for changes and for many years it transformed to another level that upton park couldnt fill So it was time to move one London stadium is powerful Youll see
I live next to the Boleyn ground and now is just buildings new apartments and the people that live there probably don’t even know where they’re sleeping. So many great players came to Upton Park glad to see them live. West Ham forever ❤
Im by no means a football lover. Here in SA we have nothing that compares to the passion you guys share for the game. I can only imagine how hard it must have been, seeing the stadium host the last game for your club. What you can take away is, memories. For what is life without memories. The generations, the friends, the family. take it with you, and carry it proudly. BUBBLES!!!!!
I went to rokeby school from 2007-2011 went to newvic from 2011-2014 I miss it. Lived down Samson street . what these politicians have done to us is wrong. it doesn’t matter about race creed religion we are West Ham. But this day this day was a sad sight to be seen. My first game was West Ham vs Sunderland me dad is a Mackem and it was the greatest day of my life I’ll always miss you ;my Upton Park my Boleyn
@@bobkatfan2013 First 2-3 seasons was a real struggle at the London Stadium though. Although can attract better players and bring in more money etc, a part of West Ham died when you left Upton Park. Moved 3 miles down the road to Stratford to play in a soulless bowl that seems like miles from the pitch.
@@bobkatfan2013 Like where? If you are in the top tier behind the goal, the players are like ants. It’s an athletics stadium at the end of the day and even if you move the seats closer, the seats at the back will always be the same distance from the pitch which is a long way. Having said that, it is starting to feel a lot more like home for West Ham.
The fan when we move to the Olympic stadium we will be the biggest club in London lol, Arsenal 31 majors, Chelsea 22 majors, spurs 18 majors, West ham 4 majors
Amazing documentary ! Lots of respect to this people and WHU CAN BE SURE, that have a fan, a supporter, an admirer here in Brazil! Best regards from Brazil to everyone
