The numbers on the cards are the alpha-numeric correspondences for the Hebrew letters. This deck's correspondence system is based on a version of the Sephir Yetzirah called the Gra Version.
Thank you ...I cant believe its three years since I did this, thank you for sharing ...I've learnt a bit more since then but I havnt really found my zen in kabbalah 😍
You may have given me some ideas for when it is time to increase the size of my grimoire. I have many old books with reciepes, articles and the like. I think reusing the cover of the old Oxford is a great idea! So many of them floating around in thrift stores.
You could hear totally fine. I love your waffling because i do it, too. You've given me a lot of ideas for my next reads. Will this be a series that you carry on with? I'm just getting into the language of flowers and hoping to plant my garden with secret messages, as well as for garden witchy purposes. It looks like your summer is going to be a really peaceful, relaxing one. I will miss all your post though
@@trishawartooth hi Trisha 💐 I love the idea of planting a garden of messages 😍 I definitely hope to share books but I am a slow reader 🤭📚🤦♀️ thank you so much for dropping by the cottage, for your kind words and support. Have a lovely summer 😊xx
Why ? That's really odd ...I try to reply to all comments and I greatly appreciate my followers taking time to comment so I'm upset that this is happening...I've no new videos coming now though so sending you best wishes Gxxx

anne stokes vs the 1977 deck would be a tuff call for me
I've barely been online during the past three weeks and am now a bit overwhelmed with catching up. Decided to prioritize gardening videos and I think it was the right decision. Loved every second of this summer ramble. We've been dealing with ghastly heatwaves but fortunately we've also had enough thunderstorms to keep my various garden spaces in good shape. Lots of herbal harvests coming in bit by bit on a daily basis, but the Japanese beetles have plundered the rose bushes quite a bit. Fortunately I harvested lots for dried petals and enough for almost a pint of rose petal glycerite that I just decanted yesterday. We have four fifty year old yews that were part of the original foundation plantings. Am constantly picking needles out of the cat's fur and sweeping them off the front steps.
@@SparklingLotusInk I've been thinking about you and hoping you were just busy...💐💐💐 you certainly battle different issues ...we have had more cold snaps and tbh the garden seems still very slow but I'm loving my roses and lavender, snapdragon and finally sweet peas...wishing you a wonderful summer xxx
lovely video! Minchiate is my aspiration as a reader, but i need to learn so much more about astrology for the zodiac signs, i have no clue how i’d read the elements, and the 2-5 trips me up 😅
you’re so right about people coming to tarot readers with loads of expectations or specific things they want to get out if it rather than being receptive to what the reading will be. i really enjoyed listening to this and love how you described tarot as a teacher. You are a wonderful person and i’m glad i found your channel
The spine problem might go away once you've thinned out the dictionary pages a bit. I use old encyclopedia Britannica's in this way. I always start prepping the book by keeping p1, ripping out ps2-3 (or even more), then sticking p1&4 together to make a slightly thicker page to hold artwork etc. Then repeat! That removes about 2/3 of the bulk, which then gets added back when I do my mixed media pieces. Hope that helps.
It's not only me then that forgets books as soon as I have read them 😂I have read one troy book, Walking the tides and loved it, I would also like to read under the witching tree. I was full of giggles with your Phenomenon and was also singing it in my head. ( also struggle with pronunciations) 🤣I have also put the gathering on my wish list. thanks for sharing G. 💜
@@naomihewitt7119 I've started the Gathering and so far I'm sooo NOT disappointed..its beautiful...thank you so much for your friendship..your support and kindness xxx
Your art is so beautiful and whimsical. I love it. Thank you so much for sharing your talent and encouraging & inspiring us! Your family is blessed to have you. ❤❤
@@NYCHFAN 💐😍 you are so kind and I am so grateful for the love and support given here...I'm not sure my family would agree 🤣🤣🤣 much love, have a beautiful summer xxx
I love all of your art!!! Happy cushions … how adorable is that? So clever, repurposing that dictionary. We have tons of dictionaries in our house, too many perhaps, and it’s funny because our largest is one I rescued from the trash as well 😂 The cover has turned out really nicely! Btw: I’ve filmed a comparison of the Gassmann and Burdel for you, and my classical album video is coming soon. 😊❤
@@SecondThoughtsAboutTheMission 🤣🤣💐 ok now I know what new project you will be doing over the summer 😊😏🤪📚📚📚 oooh wonderful so I'm going to go crazy for the Blundel when I'm back to 'no more buying decks' 🤣🤣🤣 I found some classical lps at my mils yesterday to listen to on my Black Box ...cant wait for your videos, thanks sweetie..have a lovely restful summer with your family xxx
Ha! 😂 Oh you’ve found some more to listen to, that’s awesome 😊 I have to make choices, a curation of sorts for the video. I might be able to do it tonight but it depends on a few factors. Definitely this week though!
Hi Giselle! Just to say I love your ‘waffling’ because it is so authentically you! I agree about the RWS and I too wanted to get up the first tarot decks. Please can you tell me the n e of the tarot deck Marseille that Diane ‘made’ you buy? I was touched by you say that you always felt like an outsider. I’m wondering what your astrology chart says? Also I wanted to say also that the slowness you are going through is your Saturn return (same as what I’m experiencing right now). Good luck for your August retreat into your books. Good idea! Take care lovely lady. Xxx
Great idea for those old dictionaries. I think you're supposed to remove pages from the original book to start. That makes room for all the extra you glue in. @Treasurebooks has an awesome video on breaking down old books for This.
So so cool! Your art is precious precious. I love your art ❤️ It’s so whimsical. That is such a cool idea to do that on a dictionary. It’s going to be just as large as the BOS in the movie Practical Magic 🪄 what a magical gift to give your children and grandchildren 🥰💖✨🦋
Amazing as always Gisele 🧙♀️🕸 The genius in using such a large book, means you should have enough pages to do everything in each section 🌻🌻 Loving the happy cushions. How are you getting on with the crayons?
Late to the party, but Mr. Pitisci may he rest in peace, had also another book specifically made for Raider-Waite, it's called "The Essential Tarot Unlocking the Mystery" where he goes into more details on RW. I haven't read any of them, since I don't live in Europe nor the US.
Now that I’ve watched - I love the unplugged August idea and I may copy you. I agree it is so hard to keep up with all the tarot tube content - I want to support all the lovely channels, especially the smaller ones - but screen time is taking its toll on me and I have to watch my inktake.
@@emmaythegray please do ! I will look forward to that immensely....yes I'm definitely feeling the need to withdrawn ...but not until I've seen your book pile 📚📚😍💐💐💐
I adore this deck! I have been using this deck and i think Fyodor is Brilliant! I love his explanations in the book and it is just Gorgeous! I have another in my Amazon cart as i want to have a back up deck. The colors are melded perfectly together. Thank you for showing it. I follow him on IG.💙💙
It is beautiful, the card stock is probably the loveliest I have ever had. I can't have a back up but I do love it and its gone into my top 5! lovely to see you as always much love Gx
This sort of reminds me of an oracle I had but chose not to keep, I'll not mention the deck, and although I loved the art work I couldn't work with it. There aren't many oracles though that look as comforting. I think it's funny that limits came out and this is my comment 🫢
I love the cardstock, but I could never connect to this deck, and I've tried. The cards are just a tad too big for my hands. So it sits on the shelf. 😢
@@NYCHFAN the colours are so rich ..I can appreciate it may be on the larger side for small hands ...thank you for watching, even though you have it x lively to see you as always xxx
I received this deck last Saturday and its currently in use. I paired it with the pagan otherworld and I'm really enjoying the readings. It looks really good with Jonasa Jaus, I also have that deck but haven't got into Marseille. Hope you enjoy G 💜
@@naomihewitt7119 hi Naomi ...what a nice pairing, I will have to try it. I absolutely love the art ...I can tell you are loving it too...delighted to see you at the Madwitch cottage my friend xxx
It is important (in my opinion) to have a few people's opinions to compare their thoughts on a deck. I don't think anyone dislikes this one. The publisher really did it right, cardstock, illustrations, great backs, and a really nice book. This deck is 100%. It doesn't have the astrological associations, but you really don't need them on the card. Chariot is Cancer, but it is very often depicted as the mythical charioteer of the Sun - we love to complicate the tarot, but I think the Fydor Pavlov is deliciously to the point. He gives us some nice fairy tale imagery, but nothing too complex. I might do some comparison if I can think of something different. 🩵💚💛❤️
Hi Tamipie, that would be interesting to see a comparison. I have fallen in love with his amazing artwork but I found his book charming and really well written. I am delighted as always to see you my friend. Sending you Summer Vibes xxx
Thank you so much Kim, I was worried but everyone who has commented found it either soothing or not intrusive, so thats good to know. I do need a break from SM if only to rebook and recharge. Much love to you as always Gxxx
