This song started playing during the credits on some mid Netflix movie I was watching from the horror section and I was totally stunned. At least I got something from that film, didn't waste 2 hours from my life. The film was about some woman living in the woods and got attacked by this dude wearing a mask or whatever it was because the film was such an uninteresting watch that I forgot how it goes.
Lena, you're incredible. I was incredibly heartbroken when he died. That man made me love music. Im just a fan of great music. Got a great couple artists for u to check out. No, i am not a promoter. Martin Sexton, Reeve Carney, Jimmy Gnecco and Doyle Bramhall. Martin Sexton is a must listen in my opinion. Influences include Jeff Buckley and Chris Whitley(why do they all die so young.) Check out "Glory Bound". His New Years album is fire. "Diggin Me" "Women and Wine" and "Where did I go wrong" are phenomenal. Let me know what u think.
One of my favorite Elton songs off of my favorite Elton album, and I absolutely love the way you two did it! Bravo on the arrangement, instrumentation ( love the guitar work ), and amazing vocals!
OK so this is about a thousand times better than the original song. We really needed to have more of these unbelievably awesome and mesmerizing covers, but sadly these Obsessed series seem to have stopped.
I can't stop replaying this... Between the extraordinary songwriting and the mind-blogging rendition from Lena, I guess a giant bolt did hit my head when I stumbled on this video!
I never actually managed to dicepher the last lines until now.... "Emerse your soul in love" something for us all to sing loudly in these times. Fear not, the world will get better soon.
