No science behind my statements here, and I’m not a mechanic. But what I know is that I use this in both my fuel system (4 oz. / 10 gallons), and eight ounces per oil change. My 2007 Chevy Silverado with 6.0 Vortec has 315,000 miles, mostly jobsite miles and stop & go city driving. Without exaggeration, there are zero issues with this engine. Starts instantly, runs whisper quietly and has tons of power. The ONLY issue is that I’ve started to see a slight rear seal leak, but with 315K hard miles on it, this is to be expected. I suspect that I’ll easily reach 500K miles. I’m a believer.
Thanks for this review. I was debating between the Nomad and the Techno 3.0 but I think I'll save 80 bucks and go with the Nomad. I can always add a bluetooth system later if I want. They appear to be the same helmet otherwise.
Bought one in store but the between this and the full face equivalent they didn't list it as ece for either except on the versions with an intricate paint job. They all are but it is only listed online.
The only difference is the cover now you use the bedding as the cover wrap when storing away it has velcro on it on the bottom on the pad and you use it to cover the wagon , so 🤷 maybe we have different years on when it was made i notice you have specific cover of itself hhhm either they are great 👍 👌
JFYI, this is the old, D6L version. VSYSTO release a new iteration of this system called Q3 in 2023. This is confusing, but the new system is much better and has a different remote.
I have an 08 Road King Classic. The 08 touring models have an isolator basket that bolts on...that I suppose isn't the point. I believe the 08 only has a double row bearing with an extended race. Part number 9285. It's the only thing shown on the parts diagram. So in the case of the 08 models, you only have 3 bearings(technically) because the double stacked sprocket bearing sits inside one housing. I'm not sure the MoCo even makes it anymore. We keep rolling via dead stock parts.
I have been using Marvel Mystery Oil in the gas in my car, truck, and lawn mower at every fill up since 2016. I use the recommended amount of 4 ounces of MMO for every 10 gallons of gas. Everything is running better than ever. My car now gets at least an extra one to two more miles per gallon on the highway. At first I was a little reluctant to add it to the oil, but about five years ago my 2002 Chevy truck had a loud lifter ticking noise. The oil was a quart low, so I added a quart of MMO to the crankcase. Soon the lifter ticking noise disappeared. I drove the truck about 400 miles and when I changed the oil, it was extremely dirty. This was telling me that the MMO was removing some of the sludge out of the engine. When I started using Marvel Mystery Oil in 2016, the price for a quart (32oz) at Walmart was $3.88, and remained at that price until the summer or fall of 2021. 😊😊 Since then, the price has more than doubled at $7.98. 😢😢 I still use it at every fill up, as it is well worth it.
Brother you had me laughing my ass off...I'm like is this guy talking to me...gone through everything word for word with how I came to the conclusion about the final drive bearings....bought the bearings took to a small bike shop they pressed in and out for $25
I'm off to the dealer today to buy a set of front bearings for my ride because I hit a pothole the size of California and now when in a turn I feel roughness. Took a look and yep - grease stain on the ABS bearing. Oh well.
love the video! 👍 unfortunately it seems at 1:32 on the video, a second audio signal/track starts playing. just letting you know, maybe you can fix it. 👌I'm going to have to make a pilgrimage out there some time. 🙂
They are a pain in the butt...that said I kinda feel sales are down to price..the average age per harley owner is 50 per a Google search..the younger generation of riders can't afford a harley in this economy and trend toward the cheaper yet still reliable metric bikes till they get all their finances in order and buy what everybody wants when the time is right
Had a rear wheel bearing failure on my 2008 Buell Ulyesses . The rear wheel had two small bearings. I did some research and found out that Buell made an upgrade in 2009... The new wheel has 3 larger wheel bearings instead of two smaller ones.. I found an old Stock new wheel with the wheel bearing axle and spacer kit for $700.00 All Balls Wheel bearings cost 25% of what HD sells them for .. You China bearing puller kit should have wheel bearing installers too, thus you can press the new bearings in yourself.. You might want to put the new bearings in a freezer overnight..
