@@missriversidedreamer when my pressure gauge gets into the yellow I backwash. Sometimes that’s every other day, other times it’s once a week. Just depends on how clean you’re keeping the pool or how much debris ends up in the filter.
Hallelujah! Finally, an easy, simple, helpful instructional video!!! I appreciate you not talking for 40 mins because you care more about putting on a show for the internet verses helping people like me. Thank you!
No way you was came to Bowie. I live here have for a long time. And when they brought that knife it was such a let down. It was supposed to be double the size
Thank you for the video. No one's showing what this red algae looks like. Our pool always gets red that looks like rust and it turns the whole pool red and it has seed looking things. We have well water not sure if it makes a difference. I'm trying to see if anyone has videos to compare but they're all green. Not sure if it's algae or rust or what.
Its very hard to get captured on camera. What you saw in this clip is as close as I could get to what it looks like and it’s still off. Checkout the full length video I made on it and how I got rid of it. And it is possible you have minerals in the well water that are causing it and it’s not actually the algae.
Oh and one way to know if it’s red algae. If you can scrub it up easily it’s not it. Red algae sticks like glue and takes a ton of chlorine to kill it and get it to release from the pool material.
Ahh ok I see mine was sortove light slime texture to where it has to be scrubbed out when we refill the pool. We was thinking it could be mineral build up to maybe. Thanks for the info I'll check the other videos out.
Easiest way to prime is to fill with water at the outgoing end and hold in the air similar to the way you did at the end but it will alow it the burp the air which wil be replaced with water until the air is gone and you have waterflow
Thank you so much for this video! My son and I are such a visual learners so this was incredibly helpful. Enjoy your pool because we are certainly going to be enjoying ours with the new pump set up!
I just got a new Intex pool and set it up tonight. I replaced my Coleman 22x53. The liner seems super tight at the top and is causing it to kind of bulge. Any idea why it’s doing that?! Thanks!!
That’s somewhat normal but you can help mitigate that when you put it together by making sure the sleeves on the liner are pushed as far away from each finished joint and tight as possible.
@@DunnDifferent thanks for your response. I spoke w Intex customer service and sent them pics. The rep said that it’s normal and once water is added it would fall into place and the bulge would disappear. It in fact did!
I have a question!!! I have the same pool sand filter. It has two different options for the outlet part but the one I want to use involves cutting my liner. Did you have to cut yours?
