McCarron is in my opinion the most underrated player to have played for Saben. You never hear people mention him when talking about Alabama greats, but he is most definitely up there.
This video is hysterical one day after Dalton showed the Panthers what an NFL QB actually looks like. Bryce Young has zero elite skills or physical traits and doesn't belong in the NFL.
Funny thing is that happened to Bryce LAST YEAR , not This year ! They literally went out and got a QB friendly head coach , paid big money for O-Line , and signed and drafted WR. Bryce was the least pressured QB in the league week 2 and he still sucked . His confidence was killed last year and he never recovered .
I wonder if FCS football programs coddled the players academically as FBS schools do (FBS schools tend to have a large number of players "major in eligiblity"); FCS programs tend not to have as much resources.
"Vick was a sensational QB for the Hoagies." Good video man, but I'm guessing the text is being automatically generated? I kinda like the effect of highlighting what you are saying, but can you feed it your script to work off? ...cause I know you didn't say Hoagies, for example. So yea, I like the effect, but if it messes up enough and is difficult to edit, it might not be worth it. Thanks for the vid.
You left out one possible scenario for Cousins and Penix...Cousins balls out for two seasons, get the Falcons door of the SuperBowl, but not quite good enough to make it. The steering wheel is passed to Penix who hits the ground running and gets us over the hump. Can't leave that one off the board, if the other 3 are open for consideration.
I can't wait for the season to start. I'm higher on you guys then most, I'm a big fan of your new HC. He's alittle weird but he's got those boys playing, Might've only won 4 games but most of them were close losses. You guys definitely weren't getting blown out every week.
The Falcons made some good moves and some bad moves. The worst move was giving Raheem Morris another chance to be a head coach. Awful hire that will cost them the NFC South and any chance to make the playoffs.
I'm glad I'm not a fan of this team. They're throwing $ around, but without a plan. The Saints & Falcons have been like this for decades: ownership meddles in decision-making but doesn't seem to grasp the importance of defense & only seem to have strong ones by accident. Morris as HC is...? Unknown. (I'm not going to use past failures to say he can never succeed). Cousins would be great - -*if he wasn't injured!* Guaranteed $ handed over without even checking out the tire pressure on this used car. "What could possibly go wrong?" Mooney? Moore? "I'll take guys who have trouble making the roster on teams with no depth at this position for a thousand, Alex." What *is* this? Their ceiling is 11 & I'm being generous. While Cousins was just finally getting past his inability to keep his cool under duress he still works better when the offense is designed to the Last Detail. He threw 2 INTs _during_ the record-breaking comeback against the Colts because he threw to where the WR was supposed to be but JJ sat those plays out & he didn't even look. Do the Falcons even know this about him? It's like Russ in Denver. He has (pardon the pun) shortcomings, but either is or pretends to be unaware of them. As a result, Payton had to scheme around them once he figured this out. But Russ never warned Hackett. As a result Hackett never had a chance _TO_ scheme what would work for Russ. Cousins likely doesn't realize himself why things worked for him in MIN. This team, is spending *way* too much $ just to remain mid & honestly, what other division would we even think they _might_ win? The Eagles, Bills, & that's it for the Weakest Contenders in other divisions. & they *_STILL_** didn't* fix their defense.
A little advice? If the video features text that isn't matching what you're saying, it's distracting. If you're talking about what a player brings to a position you don't want to have to say "defensive tackle" to remind everyone that this is what you're talking about. So when you write up there "signed to a deal" fine. When you write that up there then talk about how he's being moved to LT, all anyone is gonna wonder is "why that isn't what's written?" Especially as you're calling that a brilliant move. Twice this made me rewind because I wasn't sure you were still talking about Jonah Williams as it still says "starting RT." Either the text is wrong or you're talking about someone else. After talking about SMB you go into two lesser-known defensive players. You don't keep their names on the screen. That's also confusing. Another thing: listing stats means little to nothing without context. Above or below average? Compared to who they're replacing? It's a balancing act. You want to leave enough room for Cardinals fans to Have Hope but not leave it so open that they think they can beat the Chiefs. But being more accurate in the individual player summary doesn't force you to close the door on hope for most teams. So mainly, this is okay, but if you're talking over video, try to put in the text showing what we may forget 3 seconds after you said it. & I like how you start with defense. Most people tune out after reviewing the offense. If you make them wait for it, chances are they'll pay more attention _TO_ it. _THAT_ is good because to stand out in a glutted market you have to do *something* different from everyone else.
Thank you for watching the video and leaving this comment. Critic good or bad is welcomed on this channel. It’s helps improve each and every video and we thank you for taking the time out to point out the good things and things we could do better
@@TriplePlaySportsTalk Well, that's the intention. I used to coach as well as train people for jobs. Asking them what they're doing "this" for often helps solidify to themselves what they're doing & why. I could have whined *more* (I didn't _like_ the photos repeatedly expanding out of nothing, but that could be Just Me) but until I see the text match up, I can't tell if I'm annoyed by the thing itself or just that the text isn't matching what's being said. Honestly, that "switched to LT = Brilliant Move" thing *should have been* in the text. & you're only rarely ever going to put that much text under moves. so when it stands out this much, make the effort. If every other channel only mentions it in passing, that's another area you can stand out in. & if you do recaps, make sure to point it out again. In fact, while this doesn't appeal to me, having an ending recap lists their Top Move(s) would appeal to the majority of people. By the end of any video any person can have forgotten what they liked at the beginning of it. That's all for now. I'll check out other vids you made but I only know football. ("What a relief. That means that this bozo won't bother us on our basketball videos").
As a cardinals fan since 95 I can honestly admit I haven’t been this excited for a season until now. Everything feels right with all the moves we’re making. Mark my words we will be bringing home a lombardi trophy. In monti I trust. Let’s get it Cardinals. You earned a sub my friend.
Cards fan since 2012 I feel like I’ve been through it all in that short time but now with the current office and roster I feel extremely confident that we will contend for a playoff spot and only get better going forward
I felt like if we didn’t draft this guy we would be screwed for the next decade. As a cardinals fan I am 23. I have never ever beennn excited for football until this year.
As a cards fan I haven’t been as hopeful for an upcoming season in a long time. We have a great youth movement now that we haven’t had in a LONG time. If even half of these moves can translate into legit starting talent, we could be setup for success for a long while!!! This video did a great job highlighting our off-season, earned a sub
Thank you for watching and enjoying the video! Also we’re are glad we could make a video for fans of the Cardinals and the growth they can see from this team this season and in the future 💪
Xavier Thomas is the guy I’m watching. I think the Cardinals is a great landing spot. It’s pretty clear Gannon isn’t afraid of reclamation projects and he’ll get solid coaching and support. I also expect Ojulari to take a big jump in year 2. He’s bigger and stronger coming into camp this year.
First off, thank you for watching the video and commenting! Yes I believe it’s a brilliant move solely as far as depth. He still has a lot left in the tank to be a quality backup
It doesn't matter. Once you hit a player with the crown of the helmet, you can be ejected. It doesn't matter if you go high or low. When the player dips his helmet he's in trouble. Other videos on targeting ejections give good explanations.
I just hate when it is only called on the defensive player. Most of those calls the runner is the one who lowers their head and initiates the helmet to helmet contact. They need to redefine the rules of targeting and get back to playing football.
Cousins has a no-trade clause because he's a family man & wants to stay in MIN. While many teams _need_ a Russell Wilson of the past, no one is _likely_ to pay for his services other than the Falcons or Raiders who have a history of making Bad Decisions exactly like this. (But only the Falcons _really_ need him). Or maybe a team you _didn't_ mention: the Commanders! Nah, they'll draft a QB. As for Fields, MY ideal landing spot for him is a team no one thought of: the Browns. _Think_ of it. Neither Flacco nor Walker can carry this team. Their playoff window has started closing. We don't _know_ if DTR will be NFL-ready next season nor if Watson will ever return to form. & they're stuck paying him whether he plays or not. Thanks to the Bears sabotaging him, no one is gonna offer much for Fields. But if *they* get him & do not sabotage him as I think the Bears have, they could be unstoppable. They wouldn't have to sign him for much as he Really Needs to prove himself before he can demand much. If they can get him for a 3rd & a conditional 2nd say, then you do it, & you don't worry anymore about Watson. You could even gain PR points for getting Anyone Else.
