Dear sir, I been watching you since you introduced us to your slingshot, it’s been about two years, now I looking to get one myself, now I like to do my research and have come to my version an style of my slingshot. One thing I would like to do is to make it a show piece, ( I like to make my hood in to light up but as a spectrum analyzer display ) as the music is playing. I would like to ask you , with all the upgrades and modifications you done , what are your best , what are you feeling about them ,( the good and bad) and what would you not do , change or do differently. If you don’t mind, thank you and life is good on three, since I can’t no longer ride on two , ha ha
I saw your video on Auto Shutdown. My issue is that my music shut off immediately after I hit the powe off button. No 15 - 20 second delay. How do I fix that?
I just got my lights and want to install them myself great advise. Do you have a diagram of how to set up lights they did not give me any type of installation instructions from cosmic creations. Would truly appreciate the help.
To change the passcode in a Polaris Slingshot, follow these steps: Turn on the ignition: Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "ON" position without starting the engine. Access the Security System Menu: Navigate to the settings menu on the infotainment screen using the controls on the steering wheel or the touchscreen, if equipped. Find the "Security" or "Passcode" option in the settings menu. Enter Current Passcode: You will need to enter the current passcode to access the passcode settings. If you don't know the current passcode, you may need to contact a Polaris dealer for assistance. Select Change Passcode: Once you've entered the current passcode, select the option to change the passcode. Enter New Passcode: Follow the on-screen prompts to enter a new passcode. The system may require you to enter the new passcode twice to confirm it. Save the New Passcode: Confirm the new passcode and save the changes. The system should notify you that the passcode has been successfully changed. Turn off the ignition: Turn the key to the "OFF" position and remove it from the ignition. For specific details or if you encounter any issues, refer to the owner’s manual or contact a Polaris dealer for further assistance.
To reset the check engine light on a 2016 Polaris Slingshot after replacing the knock sensor, follow these steps: Check for Error Codes: Before resetting the check engine light, ensure that the issue has been resolved. If the knock sensor was replaced correctly, the error code should not reappear after resetting the light. Use an OBD-II scanner to check for any error codes. This will help confirm that there are no other issues. Disconnect the Battery: Turn off the ignition and make sure the Slingshot is in park. Locate the battery, usually found in the rear compartment of the vehicle. Disconnect the negative terminal (black) from the battery. Use a wrench to loosen the terminal clamp and remove the cable from the battery post. Wait for about 10-15 minutes. This will allow the vehicle's electrical system to reset. Reconnect the Battery: After waiting, reconnect the negative terminal to the battery. Tighten the terminal clamp securely. Turn on the Ignition: Insert the key and turn on the ignition without starting the engine. Check if the check engine light has turned off. If the light is off, start the engine and let it run for a few minutes to ensure the light remains off. Use an OBD-II Scanner: If the check engine light does not turn off after disconnecting and reconnecting the battery, you may need to use an OBD-II scanner to clear the codes. Connect the OBD-II scanner to the diagnostic port, usually located under the dashboard. Turn on the ignition and follow the scanner's instructions to read and clear the error codes. Once the codes are cleared, turn off the ignition and disconnect the scanner. Test Drive: Take the Slingshot for a short test drive to ensure that the check engine light does not come back on. If it does, there may be another underlying issue that needs to be addressed.
I Have a 2023 R, it is 3 years old and have done all maintenance went it needed to be done. It is also a manual. So far no problems. It has 13k miles so far.
Almost every word you said including being in them streets 20 Slingshots deep and your pedal gets close to the floor and you don’t know what’s happening. I looked at it at the next fuel stop and THIS VIDEO IS EXACTLY WHAT WAS HAPPENING. Doing this immediately. Subscribed instantly appreciate the help
"No, this information is directly from Polaris, and it's unrelated to air bubbles. Initially, we thought air bubbles might be the issue. We've serviced numerous bikes experiencing this problem and even conducted tests by flushing the lines and reusing the same fluid. Despite that, there was still no pressure. However, when we replaced the fluid with new fluid, everything worked perfectly."
Good morning, Brother Sam! That looks great! What a beautiful choice of color for your wall. The entire entertainment center came out Awesome!!! Congrats. 😉👍
Good luck with the Vegas heat. Unfortunately, it’s going to get hotter. I’d get a Slingshade or some other sort of roof if I were you and / or some seat covers that you can throw on the seats to keep them from baking.
Questioin: Im having a problem... I don't have any volume after hooking up my DSP per your example (by passing the factory radio - 2022 Slingshot SL). IS THE VOLUME KNOB NECESSARY? Does it have to be installed ... its sold separately
@@slingryderz7936 Did exactly that, even went as far as to delete the app....still no sound coming through the speakers. I ordered and installed the volume knob ..still no sound. I ran the Yellow wire to the battery, Ran the Red wire to the Cigarette lighter in the glove, Ran the Ground...All through the distribution blocks.. REM setting on DSP. No RCA INPUT jacks. (should there be?) RCA Output jacks ran from 2 amps to the DSP...Still no sound. The DSP and the amps all power on when the slingshot comes on, my phone's bluetooth is recognizing and connected to the DSP's bluetooth ...but still no sound. Any suggestion?? Thanks in advance.
