Why are they doing nothing against the huge waste water problems????. not sure how the algorithm got this video to me but this is tragic. having been to Tulum it's now evident why the environment is the way we witnessed it. not drinking tap water is just the beginning of problems for Tulum and any other tourist dependent location. the beaches when we visited were unusable because of the seagrass. the new railway under construction is not going to help unless it is used to transport waste out of the region. smart hotels should be using tulum circula as a contractor to handle waste at the property source. truly hope the Mexican government and large global environmental organizations take note. good reporting sir.

Thanks so much for going all the way to Tulum yet spending your day at the recycling center! I'm interested in the municipal infrastructure of resorts. They're often in remote places, yet receive outsize visitor traffic. Distant investors have no interest in maintaining the region.

Great build. One question, I do like the idea of the sliding-out drawer kitchen/stove. Do the smell of food get inside the sleep area when you cook? I guess you could pull the rear window down to prevent some of the smell?
Good shit! I am so torn between a 4door and a 2door, the former purely because of the ability to sleep inside! Can't really do it in a 2door, maybe even with 1 person.
@@Leewilly440 I actually ended up going with the 2-door and am very happy with my decision. It'll depend on what you're using it for, of course. There actually is a way to put a sleeper setup inside, but more importantly I wanted to do lightweight offroading, the back seats are crazy comfy these days and high convertible or removable in seconds. The short wheel base is VITAL for maneuverability on the trail or in urban places. If I had a family or needed to tow heavier things it would be an issue, but as is I much prefer the versatility and agility.

This is so cool! Not sure if someone already suggested but a pool noodle or a foam pipe wrap/insulation cut in half would be great to cover the corners of the cabinets to protect your knees in case you bump on it.
