Answer for sports is much more complex. You can cheer for individual players and follow them, more commonly you cheer for a team. The team represents a city and fans often have ties to that city. Thats also why relocations can destroy a fans enthusiasm. You arent cheering for the st louis RAMS, youre cheering for the ST LOUIS rams. Plus the shared interest can be a point of bonding for people
I watch sports if I enjoy the sport itself, so mostly basketball. You can also root for your favorite players regardless of team. Other sports can be fun to watch if they're inherently interesting; for me that means football and tennis and not much else.
way to turn a 30 second clip into a 3 minute video... he talks about being recognized at then start then rambles on about sports for the next 3 minutes before starts talking about the title of the video again at 2:59
I always though of watching sports and rooting for a team as rooting for a story whether it's an old team making a resurgence or an underdog team coming from nowhere you are rooting for the story you think may unfold. I think you can apply the same logic to a player and follow them instead of a team. For instance I enjoy formula one I am a fan of Mclaren because they have a story I enjoy cheering for, an excellent legacy and a promising future. Each game/race is like a chapter in the story telling of great success or devastating failure.
What a throwback! I remember when the first project ozone episode dropped, and when the series ended. The time really does fly. Anyone else remember terrafirmacraft? Middle school memories
I’d like to imagine someone standing in a Canadian grocery store and hearing a man go “Oh snappers! They have a sale on maple syrup!” 100% guarantee that’s Etho.
