Climbing Instructing & Guiding, High Altitude Expeditions & Expedition Specific Training.
Welcome to my RU-vid Channel!
I specialise in high altitude expeditions and climbing, both in the UK and worldwide. Through jongupta.com I offer high-end private mountain experiences which encompass all aspects of mountaineering and climbing, designed for people who have big goals just out of reach, or those who simply want to have the best time they can climbing and mountaineering, given some simple criteria!
As a mountain professional my work reflects my own aspirations; to make the most of each day, the conditions, weather, clients and myself. I’ve been fortunate enough to have a long, steady apprenticeship with plenty of wide ranging experience.
Through my expedition company www.Mountain-Expeditions.co.uk we deliver professional group overseas expeditions & UK mountain challenges, private guiding & instruction.
Someone needs to clean up all that garbage. Why does every person that reaches the top feel obligated to leave a piece of garbage up there!? Soon the top of Mount Everest will be a landfill!! Fuckin sad!!
Congratulations!! That required soo much discipline, physical and mental resilience! Thank you for taking the time to share with us!!! May the universe always keep you safe ✨🙏🏼✨
Is it true that it's considered wrong to touch the "true summit" of this mountain? hard to tell from the video exactly which point on the "summit" is highest, or is that old tradition not held anymore?
Deliriously, your commentary is so chill that I found myself thinking, "Hey, yeah, that's not too scary-looking" and then you showed a shot of the vertical drop from House's chimney and I immediately snapped back to reality.
I see how you make it look so easy. It is breathtaking just watching. I grew up walking up and down the bluffs where I lived. As a child, I never imagined I could ever see anything more beautiful. We did it with ennis shoes, and nothing else. As an adult, We went genseng hunting in those same ridges, and bluffs. Still beautiful. To see the views you have shown, is something I wish I knew as a child and an adult, i could have worked to see. Thank you for bringing these beautiful views to life for someone like me, who never knew of opportunities like this!!!! ( Imagine climbing without all of the modern gear and roped climbs….. now that would be …..well, as amazing as anyone could achieve. there used to be people that climbed without modern equipment, but those days are an era gone by. )…. Thank you again, and may you have many journeys to places that are as lovely as this! Great job, making it look so easy, as I know, it probably was not !
Wow !! Maaan you rock. Brilliantly filmed and explained. I am into mountaineering and it's pretty hard, but you make it look easy ! But I know it's not easy. Hats off ......
The bottleneck and serac always seem scary, but the traverse scares me even more, as it is just so incredibly steep. Those fixed lines seem to have a lot of slack in them. If one person feel from the side of mountain, wouldn’t anyone standing near that person go with them? All the slack seems like it would just carry away whomever was near.
