I remember dad playing this at WABD at Ft. Campbell KY. I was just about 4 years old but all the old days are still in my head. Seeing those Soldiers back then defined my future. I officially retired from the army in 2006 but my oath never expires. 🇺🇸
When you really need to take over a racket but this banger is on the radio in it's full glory so you just sit in a car with your fully loaded Blackburn FAF-33, Mayweather .30 and a bunch of Molotovs vibing
This version seems to be "longer" than I remember hearing on my local radio. They would seldom play a 6+ minute tune back then, but the body of the song is exactly the same as I remember. VF did a fantastic job with this song. :-)
I am 137 years old and i told my kids to pass on this great music to their kids.....roll over Beethovan. PS, i do remember this song from way back, it was fantastic then and fantastic now :)
I was 9 years old in 1958 and just discovered Rock and Roll on the radio even though my father called it "hillbilly music". In the summer of 1958 this song topped the charts. The local DJ would intro the record: "Up there where the air is rare" as a tribute to the songs popularity.
Cool song, but this is a pre recorded stripped down lip sync ?...no biggie, i love that the singer looks like a cross between Seinfeld and George Harrison....
