Hi! Maybe a tad late and nothing to do with this video.. but what brand are to roof rack mounts on the doorjam? I’ve been looking high and low but can’t find anything.. thanks in advance!
I figured out how to seat it easily after the fact...if you put the seal in the plastic piece that comes off and then install it, it's super easy and seals well. I will have to do a video the next time I change out lights.
Thank you this was so helpful this tutorial caused the least amount of damage as some other guys just pry the fabric without popping that plastic part out so luck you I watched this
THANK YOU SO MUCH I was going to pay for a new heater core for my sister's Patriot luckily I thought it didn't make sense and then I found your video and man I can't thank you enough 🙏💚✌️
My jeep is leaking coolant from right above the hose near the entrance opposite of the firewall. It’s so weird it leaks onto my foot and burns like hell.
@@chrislee6928 yeah, it’s right where the screw is and at least on your foot so it’s the heater core. I took my car to the shop. They told me the heater core was faulty and flushing. It wouldn’t do anything. They told me I had a swap it out, but I live in Arizona where it’s hot. So I don’t necessarily need the heater in the car so I created a bypass. If you want to do a bypass, just disconnect the hoses in the engine bay that go to the heater core they sell a bypass kit at AutoZone. And hook the hose up together. You won’t have any heat but your AC will still work. The car won’t overheat no more leaking. I was quoted at the shop $2300 to fix the heater core.
Thank you. My son just called from work about the weather techs being all wet and sound coming from the dash (during left turns?). He says it not coolant so I suspect this is the culprit. 2011 Patriot. Edit - Yep, Lake Jeep drained into my driveway when I ran a thin snake up the tube from underneath. About 4-5 inches in the dam broke. Drain tube can be seen and reached without lifting the Jeep about 2-3 ft in from the drivers side and even with the back of the front tire. I could hear the fan pushing water without it even running on high speed. My son received a lecture about being in tune with his vehicle. Thanks again.
Had the exact same problem, whistling noises while turning left, sudden dripping on driver's side. Pulled back the carpet, pinched the hose on the elbow and felt that grit build up and suddenly gushing through the bottom. Amazing 30 second fix when I would have spent hours waiting at the shop and probably $100 dollars in "labor" for them to check all my belts and bearings. Astounding and well explained explain fix, thanks Rallsworkcustoms!
