Hi, trying to find out some towing regulations - am thinking of an Axopar 28 on one of your trailers for towing with an Audi Q8 or Land Rover Discovery 3... In Ireland the rgulations will be the same as the EU, but crossing the UK seems a problem ....7M max length, but not sure if that's JUST the trailer and the over hanging boat is allowed? The boat I'm looking at is in Holland...
Hi Paul, we have supplied already over a dozen trailer longer then 7 a 8 or 9 meter to the UK without any problems. This 7 meter maximum rule is an old national rule which is not valid if you have a European type approved trailer. So no problem to drive your Vanclaes trough England when being over 7 meter.
@@paulodonnell7198 When you visit the Hiswa you will talk to Kempers Watersport who is the Axopar dealer in the Netherlands. They are one of our dealers and for sure can give you all relevant information and a good deal on the trailer. If you need any information before or after just send us an email or give us a call. You are also always welcome to visit the Vanclaes experience center and factory maybe you can combine this with your visit to the Hiswa and Also Kempers Watersport is also only 20 minutes done the road from us.
Yes we do, we have made several Axopar 37 Trailer both for just storage and launching as for road use. Please note that road use means towing by an Lorry and in manny countries convoy exceptional because of the beam Of the boat. If you send us an email info@vanclaes.com with your details than I can send you some pictures about this Axopar 37 trailer?
@@VANCLAES Thanks, after searching on your website for a while I found one that should work, the GYRO 3500 1050, I'm still researching boats and am yet to decide on which boat to purchase, this is all just early stage research.
Dear Alex, the trailer you found is not strong enough to support the 5000+ kg of an Axopar 37. You need a 7,5 ton lorry trailer with air brakes and ABS in a much stronger chassis range. We built a couple of those and regarding the price it’s about triple the price of a normal Axopar 28 trailer.
@@VANCLAES Oh... good to know. I can send you my email to see some images of the trailer, my main concern is whether or not it will fit a pickup truck with the coupling in the bed.
