I'mma be real. When I found your series and saw that you use Genesis, this was actually one of my worries. I know that megamod conveniently adds a lot of things that seem really good for the game, however I would recommend yeeting that. As far as I know it is possible to add most of the features Genesis has, back into the game (the combat animations, expanded faction armors, reactive world, etc) and yes it does take some work, but I would look into doing it one day if you can. Some of the expanded things that mod does are just not worth it, exactly because of glitches like that and frankly you're also missing out on some amazing mods because of that (for example there is one that creates armies of various factions who attack and siege each other like the HN attacking Shek/United Cities territories and so on). To add further salt to the wound the mod is most likely abandoned too. Have a think about it and look into the possibility of removing it and seeing what you can safely replace if you can. It may even be possible to do it without having to start a completely new game if you Export and Import your game after removing it, but you'd have to test that out. If it works, the Cannibal leader's magic will be dispelled and he can get the whalloping he deserves.
Hey man, really appreciate the thoughtful advice here! I'll definitely look into messing around with mods. I've tried so many of them, but have forgotten the best ones over the years. I'll also test out some of the newer mods. In the meantime, I will be looking for a fix for the cannibal barrier, but not before we continue other aspects of the story. It might feel a bit like a loose end now, but as the spinoff series develops, the cannibals still being in the picture could make for some interesting story telling! Eventually, there will be closure though.
When did secondary buffs from food stop stacking? You can either have hp Regen, +100hp, +50hp, +40 stamina, +25 stamina, +5% crit dmg, +10% fire rate, +5% status dmg, +bonus from pristine meat and whatever I forgot.
They used to stack? Dang, I didn't even know. All of last season I was just rocking bear canned meat lol. Also haven't explored animal taming yet, I assume that's how one gets pristine meat?
I'm using lightweight with mag capacity, and I found myself dealing more damage. That being said, it has to be at the break point of 38 to 41 bullets, just enought time to fully unload all bullets while under the effect of the weapon trigger chance buff from reloading.
Yeah for sure, it's a great build. UB is also very decent, but most builds are viable, all about what you enjoy most. (I prefer smg over pistol or shotgun)
Haha you do chat a lot! But the social aspect and a (mostly) great community is part of what makes this game so playable, even after we get bored of the content. Just have fun man :) And yeah, I do want to speedrun now that it's back to normal, but time is so limited rn. Hopefully this weekend!

Labs was much harder in novice shame they nerfed it. Her health is way to low now makes it rather easy. Soloing it is more fun tho chap! i killed her just as quick on my tod as in a group. The patch the other day still didnt really make her harder again. Good video anyways im double your playtime =] 810 hours

Bingo/wildfire full bullseye build with full weakspot attributes on mods. This build has gotten me a solo time of 11mins and 48 seconds. Cant beat that one and its usually because of the rng on those bulbs on the last fight. Everything gets 1 shot, and the flyers during phase 2 and 3 on MoL get 2-3 shot with bingo. Very efficient build. Started speed running it because I was farming a level 5 mitsuko deviant and the first boss wasn't dropping anything higher than a level 2 so I thought maybe I needed the last boss for the higher level ones. I ended up getting a level 5 from the first boss anyways but oh well lol
So we got the details of the nerf, the only changes are the hp of doc Mannheim and the Mother. Rest is the same. Solo can still be done easily then, but speedruns are going to be tougher with the doc's coming buff!

It's a different experience for sure. They've done a great job woth keeping it lore-friendly. But there are some annoying bugs... I recommend it though 👍
