this is really good, i havent found a lot of videos actually good for beginners, that is beyond just teaching you how to blend and stuff. please do more of these, its very motivating!!!

Yes! I started with yr4 a light orangish-yellow for the background, for the water it's layered in the following order, salmon pink, maroon, and light purple. The mountains take a progression of purples, light purple, dark purple, and then the closest purple I had to black without being black. The clouds are made up of a darker shade of the background, a bright red, maroon, dark blue, and a terracotta orange. the stars and highlights were achieved with a white Posca paint marker. I had the same set and I sent it back the next day. I didn't like them at all. I have some Shinhan and Stylefile markers and the Ohuhu's perform so much worse I couldn't justify their high price. They perform even worse than my much cheaper Chotune brush markers from A-zon. My Chotune have a softer brush nib (also double-sided), while the Ohuhu nib is disgustingly firm except for the tiny tip at the end of the nib. It feels like a firm felt tip rather than a brush tip. Thats why you hear that scratching on the paper. You should barely hear anything when using a brush tip. It should be soft and flexible and not scratchy at all. Ohuhu is just selling cheap chinese markers for a higher price than their competitors. But its the same cheap and underwhelming product. They bought all the reviews out there by gifting these youtubers the products. Thats why they became so popular. Not due to quality. If an influencer tells you often enough how good they think a product is, at some point you start to believe it and ignore all the negatives of said product. Either way, there a cheaper alternatives out there. For what they offer, Ohuhus are too expensive imo.
This is strictly from the words of a hobbyist, I'm not a professional artist by any means. But in my own personal opinion I really liked the ohuhu markers. But ill keep that in mind as I further test them.
Also id like to clarify, they are very quiet, in the video you can actually see the microphone close up to the marker, and then made louder during editing.
@@Lucy_colors They arent quiet at all. I have tested them 2 weeks ago. They scratch like crazy. You dont just hear it but also feel it while using them. Using them was very unpleasant for me. Especially due to the firm "brush" tip.

Thanks! I actually spent quite a bit of time thinking about colors to use. In the future, I would Like to try do limited color choices. It would make a fun challenge for myself as an artist
