An Episcopal church in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, we are a loving, affirming community of faith that includes and welcomes everyone, at any point in life and from any background. We invite you to join us in practicing our Christian faith through worship, ministries and service, in our parish, the community and beyond. Together, we are transforming lives through the love of God in Christ.
Hi. I am 18 and baptized irish catholic. I am a transgender man and have had trouble finding my place. I will attend a service at my local episcopalian church because of this livestream. I listened to it at a pottery class. ❤
U people do nothing for anyone but YOURSELVES! Sitting in your sun-roofed air-conditioned luxury vehicle probably heading to the spa right? Talking about "Christ" while living in LUXURY is nothing short of mockery and u all know it. That is how your little twisted secular communities are raised to thrive off the blood of those u consider BENEATH u. Go away
Merry Christmas to you as well! Hope you will stream our Christmas Eve services with us - 4pm contemporary and 8 pm traditional services will be live-streamed
Your church is indeed blessed to have so many volunteers. Praise be to God. And thank you for, in spite of your busy schedule, taking the time to pray with us, Catherine.
So blessed to have known Susan even though it was for a very short time. I know that my life has been made richer for it. May light perpetual shine upon her! 🙏
To become an oblate you must: Step 1. Sense that you are drawn by God Prompted by the Spirit, you desire a stronger relationship with God and seek out a path which will enable this to happen. Without knowing you at all, Father Keith, this is the first thing I sensed in you. Your manner. Your demeanor. How you don’t rush through prayer. Like you savor it (I like how you take sips of that Dunkin Donuts coffee during a brief pause in morning prayer). Like you are truly enjoying it all. It’s contagious. Later on, as I pray, I too take a sip of my home brew cup of coffee (switched to Dunkin Donuts coffee-Really good coffee, btw). It eases any tensions in me🙏 I’m not Episcopalian, but I admire from afar. I especially admire your church for offering live morning prayer. Very few churches, Episcopalian or otherwise, do offer live prayer like you do-much more personal-I’m so very grateful you do. So much so I’ve purchased three copies of your Book of Common Prayer-one for me, the other two copies for my two sons. Im hoping they’ll eventually join me in prayer. I don’t join you live because I’m not familiar enough with the liturgy to do it confidently-I fumble around looking for the passages, so doing it later allows me time to pause. I don’t know if you’ll actually read all this, but this is how I feel. God bless you all. Thanks to Catherine and the other Father whose name escapes me (my apologies). Thank you all.
We’re happy to have you with us for Morning Prayer. May I suggest you take a look at our worship service livestreams too? In the notes for each of them there is a link to the bulletin (and screens which contain most of the liturgy, song lyrics, etc you need to follow along.)
Thank you, father, for taking the time to pray with us. May I make a suggestion, please. Could you pause just a bit longer between the moment you provide the page number and the moment you begin reading from said page. Some of us are a bit slow and need a couple of more seconds to open up to said page. But we are grateful for the opportunity to pray with you. God bless you, and Catherine, and Father Keith for taking the time to pray with us.
There’s a lot wrong going on in our world, father; praying with you is not one of them. Thank you for the sunny disposition. Our Father up in heaven watches. There’s nothing more important in the whole wide world, than what you, Catherine, and the new guy do every MWF morning do. God bless you, Father Keith. Good bless the Episcopal Church.
Father Keith, I really like how you reference everything down to the canticles. You don’t rush through the prayer like you just want to get it over with. Your morning prayer is heartfelt. Like you enjoy it. Thank you, father. Truly. I really wish you and Catherine could work it out so that you could do this every single day. But I understand-you have obligations. How fortunate your congregation is to have you. Truly, you are a man of God. I look forward to your sermon on Sunday. God bless you.
Let me just say how much I admire the Episcopal Church. I admire your Book of Common Prayer. Your music. Your traditions. Your openness. But most of all, it is this-the fact that you offer people of any faith the opportunity to pray with you. Thank you, Dana. And father Keith. And that nice lady that comes on Fridays. Too bad not enough people appreciate your efforts. But your efforts don’t go unnoticed. I notice (and I’m grateful). But most of all, God sees his faithful servants and smiles. May God bless you. And May God bless your wonderful church.
I don’t know if anyone reads these posts. Well, maybe someone does. Thank you for the opportunity to pray with you. May I make a suggestion? Please go back to using your apple iPods. Much better sound quality. And can you slow down a bit. Finally, Some of us are not Episcopalians. I did get a copy of your Book of Common Prayers. Still trying to get acquainted with it. Wonderful book. It has quite a story behind it. Catherine. Dana. Keith. God bless you all. And don’t stop this. Much bigger churches don’t do what you are doing. You are the Little Engine That Could. All things are possible through Him. Someone give me an Amen.
Hi! We do read them! Thanks for that feedback… I tried to use my AirPods today but couldn’t get them connected. Will try again next week! Yes, I’ll slow down too, and happy to add a little commentary about where things are in the prayer book if you’d like! Thank you for that encouragement too…. We are going to a Monday/Wednesday/Friday Morning Prayer schedule soon, but we should continue that as long as people are watching. Have a great weekend! - Catherine Montgomery
