Can you please help me opening the exact parts of the machine to fix it. You mentioned in the video we don’t need to remove the base or something. Pleaseee i am very poor in electric stuff 😢
It is working as good as new.. fixed mine and fixed couple of other. reach out to me if you are in east coast. for any educational ideas or stuck fixing it midway
Yes excellent video and well explained. I recently heard a loud bursting sound and saw a spark in my machine recently. I think my heating element has been blown. Will check it with multimeter today. Any ideas where to find a replacement of the heating element.
Hello - Thanks a lot for sharing the video. my connectors were badly rusted , and when I try to rub it (it was so bad) one of the end actually crumbled :( any Ideas where can I get that part? Thanks for the help! You Rock!
I was able to fix this issue 2-3 years back for my Rotimatic and same thing happening again. Is it possible to replace those connector pins? If yes - can someone please share the link for me to buy those connector pins? Thank you!
Hi thanks for the informative video, my connector was very badly rusted and it seems the metal has melted so I soldered it. However, i'm not sure how put the plate back as one of the wires is interfering when I m putting the plate back. Does any one have a picture of how the plates look like before taking them out and more improtantly how wires were managed.
@@varunmeh I just started the process today. Just managed to remove the back cover so far for today :) Will remember to take the pictures when I get to the front and post here. Did you have to take all 4 side panels and then which 4 screws did you unscrew in the bottom to slide out the bottom pan as he says here that he does not think removing of the bottom metal panel was required. Looks quite complicated, but hey if I don't do this, it is going to garbage as Rotimatic wanted C$875 to fix this and also was giving only 3 months warranty. That was basically 70% of the cost for this when we paid 4 years back.
Thanks for sharing, how did you fix the corroded heating element connector? On mine it looks like, the connector was loose from factory and frequent arc-ing melted it down, and finally caused the disconnect.
I followed your video and was able to remove rust from the heating element. But now can’t get rotimatic to power up again. Seems like some kind of short circuit happening. Any idea ?
Thank you for the detailed post. I have found the same heating element issue in my Rotimatic. But now I have bigger issue, the front panel connectors seems to be broken while I was trying to remove, can you please suggest if there is a way to fix it?
Thanks for these instructions and it worked. However a stupid question, does the fan behind rotimatic - is it supposed to act as exhaust or take in outside air? Am worried I fixed it incorrectly. Right now it’s taking outside air inside. I checked it by putting a tissue against it
Hi, My rotimatic front pan is not lifting during start up / test run. The customer support team is saying that it is due to motor problem. Do you know how to fix this issue? How can I find spares?
by any chance does anyone has pictures, I removed the baseplate, but for some reason having diffiuculty in remembering the orientation of baseplate and wires going in
Thank you so much for the detailed description and steps... I am having issue with the machine where the fuse is blowing up every few days... Any idea?
Hi, I am following all the steps as you mentioned in your vidoe, but on front panel and on right side panel there are two very small screws (rounded cap/no cut) how should I open/remove those, any idea, would appreciate your help.
Great, thanks for posting the video! We all need to help each other by posting videos and pics of our repairs as Rotimatic clearly knows how to fix issues but they are asking us to buy a new machine instead of providing instructions to do it
Thank you very much for the detailed video It takes time, but it worked. We had the same issue and resolved by cleaning the heating pan socket. Thx Again.
@@hivvirus9478 Thank you for the video. You are a brave discoverer :) I have the same 2 minutes error and have started to open up. Already broke one latch while removing the back cover. Super glued it for now. I know it has been a while, but do I have to really remove the 2 side panels or can I just remove the back and front. And then slide the bottom heating element out, if I figure out which 4 screws in the base hold it. I am guessing the 4 side panels are such that they over lap each other and to get to the front, I have to remove all 4.
Dear sir same issues of 6 min and doesn’t heat up .... same answer from rotimatic .... can u clearly please send ur video .... will try like how u did thank u
Just stumbled on your video. I see hope that there is a fix 👍. Question: I recollect you mentioning there are some steps one does not need to do to get to the base plate heating element. Can you please tell me what part I can skip ? Thanks.
Hey thanks bro for sharing information.. it is very valuable and worked for me. Mine had rust on heating plate circuits. And it's working well now. Everyone, as mentioned in video, make sure when you trying to repair make video and take lots of pictures and follow his directions and will work for you hopefully.
Thanks. It was difficult for me to open but I asked an electrician and guided him according to your steps and the fix worked. Thank You Again. If someone is local in Orange County or Los Angeles county and around, I can share you his contact info. Email me at asifmy@yahoo.com
I can’t seem to be able to take the front and side panels out. I could take back and top out. You made it sound like you just have to pull it out. But there are a lot of grooves where it’s getting stuck. How to address that? Am I missing something
Hi got inspired watching this and decided to do same for similar issue . Everything is cleaned but after assembling back it show red light but then starts making buzzing noice and no display . I am not sure what’s wrong. Can you share some pictures of power supply cords and others
every thing is in the video . In the very beginning I showed how the power supply is . You cables which attach the screen to the mother board might be loose did you try to fix that
Thanks for sharing the video, this has given me a confident to open my unit as it is out of warranty. Any idea why I get flour seems to be running low message. Even though I cleaned the container by dismantling every part and also made sure the tunnel is free from debris. Tried changing the flour and now waiting for new container to be replaced. If nothing works, going to open the unit and check.
Hi ... thanks for sharing this video. Will you be able to share the video on how to clear the rust ? I feel that I have the same issue with my rotimatic as it gets stuck at 2 min
Hello, Thank you so much for this vid, I had similar problem with my machine its just keep on heating and stuck on 2 min, I followed exact same step, in my case cable which you showed rusted is completely got removed. Tips for other people take picture at each step, this is very important, and all structure is plug and play type. It's very easy. Take you time while disassembling it, do not rush, use flash light. Make sure power cable disconnected.
Thanks for your comment. Could you please confirm that this fix has resolved your rotimatic problem of pans overheating but display stuck on 2 mins? FYI, I am having the same issue with my machine. After I start the machine, the display keeps on showing 2 mins remaining for a long time before it shows that the pans are overheated and the machine needs to cool down for 30 mins. Did you have a similar problem?
I’m having a hard time taking the front and side panels out. He made it sound like you just have to pull it out but that isn’t working. How did you do it and how easy was it to reassemble?
Hi Thanks for the Video and I have had the same issue. I have opened the machine abs found that one of the connector is corroded badly. Can I do soldering of this ? Any suggestions ? Thanks
my roticmatic giving error of kicker, but the kicker working fine, goes competently back and comes on front.customer services representive said there is button at rare back inside the panel, can you tell me where is located
Hi, thanks for posting. I am working on mine. Do you know how to access top plate heating coil? Also, my water pipe has visible mold formation, any thoughts on how to clean that?
I am working on mine too. Also noticed black stuff in water pipe. My water pipe is NOT connected to a pump, one pump has oil other has nothing. Is that the case for you too ?
