I think it's generally a good idea to spark on every New Heroes banner, so long as you have a decent reserve of orbs of course. It typically gives you a decent bonus unit for two weeks of arena, and more options to use when the Limiteds come around.
I actually stumbled upon that opening move entirely on accident while trying a different strategy that didn't pan out. It's fun what you can find while trying to force something else to work.
Thank you for uploading this, I used it as inspiration for my clear (with less than one hour remaining lol). I refined Genny on a whim the other day because I had excess sacred dew for the first time in forever, not knowing Valentia was getting a limited Abyssal so soon. The enemies began to move differently the turn reinforcements stopped showing up. I had to give Rinea Blue Tome Breaker and the Distant Defense seal so she could survive the blue mage. The axe flier kept going down instead of going to the middle and that forced me to leave someone in enemy range. After that Alm had to tank one last hit from the blue cav. Thankfully he could take it and this horrible map was finally over.
It's crazy how small variations in team composition can affect a single unit's movement, and how that one changed move can alter every subsequent movement. Great that you managed to figure it out from there, and I'm glad this video at least helped you start out.
@@MAA54 The good thing is that they moved differently late in the battle. If it was during the earlier turns that would have been much more problematic.
I was able to use this as my guide for Abyssal. The only differences were both my Fallen Julia and Duo Leif being +atk, so they one shot a couple enemies your units had to hit twice, and I didn't want to use sacred coins so my Dancer Eldigan had other defense boosting skills. He had to tank Lif twice, but thanks to Nanna's healing he was never in danger.
nice strategy! I beat this too but trying to recreate my strategy, so I can also upload. There is a lot of hit and run in mine and I used easter severa, legendary lucina, fallen morgan and olivia dancer.
I remember being in the same boat back when we had limited attempts, scrounging every video on the final day to see if there was something that I could use. Glad I could help.
I never really think of my videos as guides since I frequently use units that aren't F2P friendly, but sometimes all it takes is a general idea of what to do and a few clever substitutions to make it work as a guide. Happy my solution was useful in that regard.
That's a tough question. The short answer is I don't think there's anyone in the PoR/3H roster that can directly replace him. For a longer answer, let's go through what Dimitri has to do in this solution. First, he has to kill the green thief. Even with his impressive offensive power (effectively Death Blow 7 with guaranteed double attack) he's still 1 HP short, and needs Lysithea's Drive Attack seal to make the kill. Second, he needs to be close enough that Mist's debuffs hit him instead of Bernadetta. After that, he has to survive Mist attacking him. Then on the next turn he needs to maneuver around Mist, activate the Veil item, and then kill the blue thief in a single attack with his special charged and the Horn item. He then yet again has to survive Mist's attacks. Several of these actions require 3 movement, which removes most non-cavalry from the running, and the need to be closer than Bernadetta on Turn 2 rules out ranged units. Now I said you couldn't directly replace him in this solution, but there are some modifications that you could do to make up for a lack of offensive power. For instance, if you can't kill the green thief in one go, Mist will heal the thief instead of attacking. You could then finish off the green thief, use the Veil to clear the panic, and then use the Pass skill to phase through Mist to kill the blue thief. This also means Mist won't be attacking you, removing the requirement to survive her attacks. Of course even this alteration sill requires you to kill the blue thief in a single round. Other possibilities open up if you have some investment in Bernadetta that would allow her to power through the Mist debuffs, as you would then be able to use ranged units instead of just melee cavalry. Of course, all of this is with Interval 21 enemy stats; if you're at a lower Interval this may be more doable. For instance, the 1 HP short kill might instead be an easy kill, freeing up Lysithea's seal slot. If you are at Interval 21, we're still demoting even with one bonus hero so don't stress too hard about a solution. I hope this helps.
I liked how you were portrayed by your hands in this video. We never saw your face or anything more than just your hands. The camera angles at various scenes, such as at dinner, seemed to be from the point of view of hands, rather than your face, since they were angled and jerky, as though continuously moving. Nita Padavil
JT Oxaal. Good combination of hand held shots with steady shots. The whole film was either a point-of-view shot or a close up, which puts the viewer right in the film.
I liked how the beginning scenes give the sense that things are going to get more exciting in your day. The cuts from the one side view of your desk interspersed with cuts to the window or the bathroom gave breaks that made sense, and eventually lead up to your leaving your room and going else where. These shots being more ad hoc. They felt much warmer than those static ones in your room as well.
I really like what you did with the camera angles here. The repeated still shots of your hands and the laptop show the monotony of life in your room, whereas the handheld shots of your friends at dinner show the excitement at dinner time.
Nice handheld feel. I don't quite get how you feel about your living space from the video. Maybe this is intentional? Like you feel it doesn't do much for you except serve the purpose of housing you. Overall good video.
