Thank you so much for your video. I recently got my HTVRont Auto Press and needed instructions on how to use it for slate. It turned out great! I did notice now I have a square indent on the heat pad that came with the machine. Will that go away? Can I fix it somehow?? HELP!!!
@KROBINSON
@KROBINSON Год назад
Congratulations on your great slate! And yes, as you continue to press more things, it'll go away, but other things will create indents and go away, etc. You can also flip the pad over ever so often. HTVRONT also sells replacement pads but I'm still using the same original one. And I also turn the slate horizontal sometimes and vertical sometimes on the pad.

Great job for first video. Inspiring. If paper is sticking I found it was that I pressed too long at too high. So either lower temp for same time or sake tem0 for less time.

Love this! Your enthusiasm is so contagious ... now I need to order slates as well! How did you make certain that the picture is completely covering the sublimation part of the slate? I'm guessing that you peeked as you folded the paper and taped it. I'm also wondering why you put a piece of paper on top of the back of the slate before pressing. Thanks for a great first video!
@KROBINSON
@KROBINSON Год назад
And forgot, since I made the picture a little bigger and folded it, I placed an extra sheet behind it in case of blowback. I didn't want to mess up the top of the press. More of a just in case. :)
