A husband & wife have an argument - a factual occurance in all marriages & relationships & it ends up like this. It is a brazen show of how pathetic western society has become in many ways. We have the likes of White ribbon backing it - a movement that alienates men & give women immunity from being labelled as abusers. A massive industry has been created out of this crap - fathers wrongfully loose rights to see their kids due to a huge culture of permitted false allegations of DV. It is little wonder males are turning their backs on relationships these days. It just isnt worth the risk.
I also wanted to make a joke, but all Simon's and Brickell's lyrics have been exhausted in other comments, so l'll say this. It's disgusting how domestic violence has been turned into another instrument of constitutional suspension by the police and incarceration apparatus. Just like driving, the time tested way to surrender freedoms in the interest of safety, but even more insidiously, because not only is there the irrefutable safety element but also the shameless appropriation of women's liberation and women's rights, in the opportunistic policing and righteous zeal of searching without a warrant and increasing detention and arrest quotas. Of course, police don't stop at the undeniable public service of protecting safety on the road or the well-being of vulnerable women, but will also use the smell of that potent and deadly narcotic, marijuana, to circumvent civil rights at any given time, even if on such occasion rather than perverting traffic safety or women's liberation they are exploiting the old-fashioned terror of a drug once preferred by suspicious and unruly minorities.
Good thing this did Not Occur in Australia. We would have Stopped the Government and had at Least a Two Year Legal and Public Enquiry. For Example :- Here in Australia We had Two Young Adults Get Drunk. Apparently One took advantage of the Other Whilst Drunk. This caused the Government to Stop and So Far Three Years of Legal Battles. Sure Our Media got it Horrible Wrong. But the Media has a Job it Must Do, Right?. The Young Adults Both Not Realising the Full Details of Why They Lusted for Happiness. Not Realising Youth is a Dangerous Period of Naivety. There Reputations and Personalities have been Serverly Bruised. All this because for at Least 50,000 Years We have made Fools of Ourselves Whilst Drunk and/or Pursuing Happiness. Plus Our Governments are Unable to Improve the Situation. The Two Youngish Ones Still do Not Fully Realise why They are Unhappy. Lucky this did Not happen in Australia.
