Comedy doesn't refer to making people laugh. Historically, comedy in plays is using common people in the play. The elite find common people (Greek time period) to be comic relief because of their poverty.

YES!!!! Thank you. Men and women have their differences BUT SHOULD BE EQUAL. And they're not, in some very real, concrete ways. And you definitely shouldn't feel bad about it. I call myself a feminist and have no hesitations in doing so.
Staying positive is definitely the way to go! As long as you keep remembering that you're where you wanted to be you'll realise how many reasons there are to be happy. :)
After rejecting the notion of organised religion right the way through my school career, I decided to commit to Christianity - Protestantism - in the wake of a personal experience I had in church when I was 18 (and I'll be 21 in 3 weeks). It made me a more pleasant person to be around, and it simply gets me through the endless storms of shit I frequently have to weather in my life. And its pretty good death insurance, too! ;)
I think it's good to remember the bigger picture; especially when things are changing, because like you say, it reminds you that in the grand scheme of things, it's actually not that big a deal. Also milkshakes are good.
Yeah, there's some comforting thought in the grand scheme of things. Something along the lines of "this is a huge massive thing out of my control so I can't mess it up, it will continue without me" and I know that depresses a lot of people but I find it almost liberating. The clouds or stars or whatever go on regardless of my actions.
To be fair, I probably pronounce "mori" like Moriarty or moribund, but that's probably not the best way. I didn't take Latin. But it's a dead language anyway, so fuck it. ;)
It's "memento" as in memory, and "mori" as in... well, mori. But you get extra points for citing John Green and for knowing the phrase in the first place. In the words of Chuck Palahniuk in Fight Club, on a long enough timescale, everyone's life expectancy drops to zero - some people are frightened by that, I find it freeing. Only after disaster can we be resurrected. Only after we've lost everything are we free to do anything. :)
