If you have an arch that's not super sturdy or concerned weather blowing it over, we'd recommend using some kind of weights! These could be dumbbells or bagged weights that you can cover with fabric that fits your decor or place other decor elements at the base of your arch to cover them too.

I got task to assist w/ a friend’s wedding to make 8 small vase flowers arrangement for her wedding next week, since she underestimates numbers of ppl and tables coming to her wedding. Found out she needed 8 additional tables and no flowers for them. Her florist that she use for the wedding charges additional $3k for 8 additional tables. So she asked if I can just make a simple small flowers arrangement for 8 extra tables, so here I am researching. I’m planning on making this peonies flowers arrangement it’s simple and beautiful. I never done any flowers design before especially wedding, only done small flowers arrangement for friends bday bouquet 💐 for events a few times. Could anyone tell me what’s the size of the form is being use here? I needs to do some practice and let’s see how it go next week.
Floral foam size we used is 4 1/4"H X 9 1/8"L X 4 1/4"W. Hope we're not too late answering! $3k for additional 8 tables sounds quite expensive - you're a great friend for helping out! 💞
Florals will remain fresh for at least 1 day assembled in the hydrated floral foam! If you keep your ground arrangement in a cool area away from sunlight, it should last at least 2 days once assembled. 💐

If one makes the arch a day before with the soaked foam is there a specific way it has to be stored or should they stay fresh until the next evening? Also should note I’m in Texas and my wedding is in May
Beautifully done! We are using a circle arch that is about 8 ft. tall with one swag on the top left and another on the lower right that is pretty full and meandering up the rods. How many "kits" of 60 pieces would you recommend? Also, approximately how long (in feet) are your completed flower swags? It's hard to tell in the video.
Hey Carol! From the sounds of your arch, we'd recommend at least 2 arch kits for your desired style, or 3 if you want a really full look! Size of the finished arrangements depends on how you arrange things, but by using longer stems on the outer edges, I'd say approximately 4 ft long. Hope this helps :)
We recommend 1-2 days before your wedding! With our DIY arch kits, all the supplies and florals are typically delivered to you 2 days before, so it gives you time to create everything while keeping the flowers fresh. 🥰
Hi there! I am DIYing a similar style for my archway. Would this technique also work for artificial flowers? Obviously, I wouldn't need to wet the foam or would it make it easier to poke the flowers through?
Hey Caitlyn! Absolutely, this technique works for artificial flowers too! Correct, no need to wet the foam and you can build your arch days in advance if you know the exact shape you're wanting since you don't need to worry about the lifespan of your florals. 💐
is there a correct height for placing the boutonniere or it is just preference? I once did it pretty at the same level as my pocket square. I do think that that the most balance position is in the middle of the top of the tie and pocket square.
We recommend the top of your boutonniere covering the lapel buttonhole. But if that isn't your style, than do what you think looks best for your wedding! 💐
