Hi mate, It was because of your two video's and the center diff oil change to 300k that I bought one of these last week!! Man, what a car! I couldn't help myself though, i pulled the trigger on a 4985 Max 6 combo for it. Will still be running 6s but with ridiculous amount of power and torque. My friend also did the same. While we are waiting for the Max 6 combo's to arrive, have been hitting the forums to find out what diff juices work well for the guys with the Max 6 systems in the Typhon. This is my 4th 6s Arrma, Felony, Mojave, Fireteam and now this little maniac!! Shorter is good sometimes. Get the point across and share your experience. However, fun videos are good too. This was a great video showing what you found that works as well as showing the difference between 20M and 100K fluids.
I did it exactly like that on my maxx and it soundes perfekt but the pinion got eaten up after litterly the first bash! I dont get it, how is that possible? Can someone tell me?
I think a better comparison would be the Kraton 6s EXB v2 now that it is out, they are almost the same price also. Seems the sledge would be a better basher with upgrades but the kraton would be better for everything else.
I guess it wouldn't bother me, I never use stock transmitters, always like to tinker, so diff fluid change is no problem either. I don't like the body being tall on the chassis like you mentioned though, that's why I got a kraton. It does look more like an adult rc than the Traxxas does though, not flamboyant.
I want the kraton to win. And also I know you are a Traxxas guy so I want the kraton to change your mind. I think it will be evenly matched but I know the sledge will win because that's what you favor
This also coming from someone who likes traxxas. Some people like trucks that you can fine tune and tinker with to make it perfect. It doesnt take much to fix some of the problems he addresses. But he does make a great point.
