when someone performs a song, there three people present...the performer of course as well as the person who is listening and watching...and lastly the artist who wrote the song...these three entities converge and come together as one to share a unique experience...or something like that....thanks for reminding me about hank williams...

@@RonnieGavelin No biggy, just looking for a track to tighten my lead on it. Would love to just do an instrumental because I know the song forward and backwards on guitar. My dad used to sing it and have me play lead fills to it. I can play a rhythm to it, just dug what you were doing with it. Thanks for responding!

Funny you should meantion Carpet Crawlers because that song was in no way an inspiration for this one, but I've always loved it and now that you've pointed it out I can definitely see what you mean about the atmosphere. Actually, there’s a male version by Judas Priest but theirs is more of a metal ballad and quite different from the original and I prefer the original version more so wanted to have a go at a male version closer to that. 😊
