I found mine works well with the crosman gold flight and fast flight at 10yds. Despite the smooth bore, it's surprising accurate with many different pellets. I still enjoy slinging bbs out of it though.....plenty accurate enough for beer cans. 👍
You love multi-pump because they are zen. The 362 is great, I like 2-3 pumps at 10 yards, 5 pumps at 25 yards, 8 pumps at 50+ yards. Pump 7 and 8 are more work, and turns in a bit more bark. ~ Papa T
😮 people can shoot cans, <*> when l was kid the man had a little house in back so one day he gone to the little house to do is morning thing so l shot at the little house he came out jumping around like a jackrabbit so he had to make a two hole outside get the picture it's like peeing three ways....😊
Good shooting, this is a challenge for sure. Nice open spot for shooting too. I am curious why you went with 6 pumps vice full 12 for 50 yards? Dropped a sub and going to check out your videos. I like the scope setup you have on your Legacy, might have to go the same route. Keep up the great work ~Papa T
Thanks for the sub and comment, appreciate it! Honestly I went with 6 pumps because I didn't feel like pumping it 12. Lol, and yes I love the cvlife scope. It's really amazing
It is! The property is pretty old where I make these videos. Legend has it there used to be a hand built log cabin around that chimney and someone move it to a lake 30 years ago. Love you content nibs you're awesome!
i own this its a fun little plinker but i wish they would have went with the big gram bottle of c02 instead of the 2 small ones. i also added the picantinny on top and mounted a cheap red dot sight on it
It is a fun plinker, I will add a pic rail to mine as well at some point. NOT sure why they went with 2 cartridges instead of one or a larger gram cartridge. But oh well
Nice going! 😀 It’s really cool to see others shoot out at that distance with the camera POV on the shooter and targets. Not spun in the opposite direction which to me, immediately calls into question whether they are even shooting at the distance they claim. I don’t try think my 2100 Classic would have done any better. Its groups really spread out at 50 yds.
Thank you my man! I enjoy your content. Yea I would say 50 yards is really pushing these lower end guns. I feel like if I had a bag or my rest I might have done better. I will definitely do this challenge again with this gun and others! Thanks for the comment!
@@outdoorplinking1119 For 50 yds, yes, definitely use a bag or rest. Otherwise it’s too shaky and with lower end guns their groups are already getting pretty spread out. With a rest you can better showcase the accuracy of the gun and minimize the shooter’s impact. Even with a rest, hitting out at 50 yds isn’t effortless. The high end, expensive guns definitely make it easier but it’s really cool to see if much less expensive guns are capable of doing it.
Good video bro I like your channel I unboxed a pcp Beeman raider 22 cal u should buy a pcp air rifle mines was 169 bucks on Amazon but it now 199 bucks but there is more Beeman pcp air that is cheaper
Under 30 yards I do get good accuracy with my rifles once I've found what pellet they like. Haven't found the right one for the steoger. My gamo bone collector loves benjiman round nose 14.3 and my daisy 1101 loves cphp 7.9. Both shoot under .75 inch
BB's aren't accurate, but there are plenty of break barrel pellet guns that can shoot 1/2in groups at 50 yards and PCP airguns can easily get the same groups out to at least 100 yards.
A lot of these 1077's are missing rubber O rings especially if they are out of Canada. They have a 500FPS limit. so Crossman just leaves the rings out. You replace these seals and you FPS can go as high as 800
You mentioned getting 40 or 50 shots out of the 1077, which I would be fine with and for now, I'd rather stay with the co2, although you do give an alternative. So I just purchased mine and here are my results. Any positive input would be appreciated, as with mine, I'm a little disappointed. 1) Using Crosman co2 cartridges 2) Tested with various pellets (Hobby, RWS R10, Excite, Destroyer, Diablo) 3) Temperature was 75 degrees 4) Distance was 20 yards. (I know most shoot at 10 yards, but I like the challenge) So here's my disappointment and I'd like to hear from others. First, I'd like to mention, at 20 yards with an inexpensive scope, 12 shots landed within 3/4" grouping. I'm happy with that, but on the next clip, with the first 6 shots, you can feel and see the decline in co2, as the shots were dropping on the target and the next 6 shots in the second clip seemed to have trouble getting a few pellets out. With that said, I was only able to shoot 24 shots max per co2, half of which showed diminishing power. I guess if I was at 10 yards instead of 20 yards I wouldn't have noticed the drop, but again, I like the challenge. What is everyone else getting (shots per co2)? Note: I do want to mention that I did not hear any co2 leaks. And are there any recommendations? The cost of switching out the co2 after every 24 shots along with the cost of pellets, for another 2 cents per shot, I could be shooting a real firearm, as .22lr ammo isn't much more. Looking forward in hearing from others.
My 1077 you saw in the video is used, not sure of the seals condition but overall doesn't leak and shoots well. I don't think there would be a break in period with one of these c02 rifles, but I could be wrong. Now your grouping you talked about .75inch group at 20 yards is fantastic! Now your concern about power dropping and probably affecting your group. That is the reason why I went from c02 to the paintball tank kit. Because as you shoot the c02 cartridge diminishes quite quickly and as power drops so does velocity and accuracy can suffer. As you shoot c02 the cartridge actually gets colder cause the gas to condense thus running out quicker. I have read that you must take a break between shots or every few shots to let the c02 warm up again. And even at that it will eventually run out and cause a drop in velocity and a drop in accuracy and point of impact. This is the reason why I switched to the paintball adapter kit. I have ao much c02 that it won't matter if I shoot it like a semi auto 22 with only a couple seconds between shots. And I am hoping to get atleast over 1k shots with one fill instead of buying c02 cartridges which can get pricey over a short time. You do loose some c02 from the tank when you connect and disconnect, but it's not much. I have only used my 1077 about 3 times since I've gotten this setup and it doesn't disappoint! Time will tell how practical it will be. But you can always unthread the adapter and go back to c02 cartridge if you just want to shoot a quick pellet clip. Hope this helps
@@outdoorplinking1119 yes, this was helpful, but still curious from others as to what the average shots per co2 everyone else is getting so I know whether or not there is something wrong with my 1077 or if it's normal. I only have a small window to do a return, but don't want to go in that direction if the 1077 isn't defective.
@@nyrainman4897 Try reading on some forums about the 1077, maybe even register on one of them. Gateway to airguns is a big forums. Could try making a post on there and see if anyone else might chime in about the 1077
I have one that looks just like that, which I bought around 1973. After I added their "intermount" adapter and a Weaver 4X scope, I got groups you would not believe. It took me some time to learn how to shoot properly, but a good air rifle cannot be beat as a training tool for marksmanship.
That's awesome! Yes I added an intermount aswell and an old x4 scope and got really good groups with it. I have a video on this gun scoped. Air rifles are a great training tool for marksmanship when guns and ammo is expensive
@@outdoorplinking1119 Three pumps, concentrate on my breathing, and I could get five rounds in one hole at 40 feet (still have the rife, just haven't shot it in a while).
Nice combo there. Can't beat a good pump up. I just wish crosman would put a wood stock on it!. Sick of this plastic rubbish. I had a crosman model1 when they came out and the wood just transforms it imo. BACK TO WOOD PLEASE CROSMAN. LOL sorry for rant .
Thank you! Yes I agree wood is much nicer. I love my sheridan blue streak with the wood. Beautiful gun. I heard from an old fellow that's a big airgun collector where I live, said back in the late 70s or 80s crosman and daisy had a version of the 2200 magnum and an 880 variant that had wood furniture on it for a limited time special edition
It's a really great air rifle! check out gamousa.com, they have great sales! Right now if you check out gamousa they have a sale on a swarm hunter .22cal, very similar to the bone collector
@@WalnutandSteel Nibs, I watched your review videos on CvLife scopes and that's why I made the decision to buy them . Plus the Crosman 362's & 3622 PCP ! Couldn't be More Satisfied with the Purchases !
I have 2 CVLFE 3-9x40AO scopes on Crosman 362 and a 100th Anniversary 362 and CVLIFE 4-16X44AO lighted recticle on a Crosman 3622 PCP . Couldnt be More Pleased with them . Keep the Great Videos Coming ! Stay Safe & Healthy ! God Bless !
Nice vid. I think your scope is perfect for the legacy 1000. I have the same on my own and consistently shooting 1 inch groups at 25 yards. I've lightened my trigger which also greatly improves accuracy. The legacy 1000 is the best multipump for the money, edges out the daisy 880
The legacy 1000 is a great rifle for the price and the plastic receiver isn't a big deal to me. The scope is so nice and looks very pleasing on the rifle. Thanks for the comment, love hearing from my viewers!
I have a silver streak in the closet that I got when I was 12 years old. Been sitting here 43 years. Had a blown seal and I'd like to get it repaired. They were the one to have when you were a kid
I've heard alot about these back in the day when they were new. You should definitely get it fixed up! Alot of power even with just 3 pumps. Look on ebay for a seal kit, and if you need help finding one you can comment on here and I'll respond to you
Sometimes those mounts can separate the barrel from the compression tube . Just what I have read ? I have two Sheridan Silver Streaks , sweet guns . I would like mine to scope mine to , but don't what to damage it in the process . Mine likes the JSB 13.73 grain .Also my Airforce Talon SS likes them . H&N makes some nice pellets . Congrats on the Sheridan . Classics rule .
Hey thanks! I have not read much on these mounts and did not know that could happen. The mounts seem to fit my gun well, but haven't had the scope on too long. Time will tell if these mounts will be fine or cause issues
