Lol all part of the fun 🤣 Actually been really lucky ever time I been here the most I was delayed travel for 3 days but nothing serious. Thanks for watching 👀
Hey man great video I love this. Ive been in philipines for about a month now. Im a contractor in the middle east. Im next to BGC, its cool but I hate the city. I need to be more in nature and Im not getting that here. I would love to go hunting fishing more living off the grid. Is that doable in philipines. Im in a good place but there is a lot of extreme poverty here a lot of places smell like dog cat pee poop. That kills me to see.
Thank you 😊 I agree it's sad to see in the city people living a difficult life. If your more into nature by all means need to explore much more I will be sharing more videos of dumaguete area soon but there is many places even where I am now is a nice island but I just personally like more daily activities to choose from . Thanks for watching 👀
Yes actually many dive site resorts about 20 minutes out of dumaguete..then some very good spots about 45 minutes past that ..the other end of the island I haven't explored yet so don't know . Thanks for watching 👀
Thanks I just use my galaxy s 20 and a simple selfy stick that also is tripod...actually the one thing I would upgrade frist is my mic it's a cheap one and for the price I am happy with it I only spent 30 dollars but if getting the 300 dollar set I feel much better othen then that for now it all works pretty decent. Thanks for watching 👀
I have been living in small coastal towns in Ecuador continually for 8 years. I am 65, still in pretty good. I prefer a beach where i can bodyboard on small to medium waves. Play volleyball and throw frisbee long distances. A few beach bars and restaurants too and i am a happy camper. Grateful for your suggestions.
Calapan is a city and in fact it's the biggest on the island of mindoro. Then it's about 2 hours by boat to batangus and from there if travel in the morning Manila is 2 hours . Thanks for watching 👀
Perfect timing. I was literally just looking at this process for a 9 week roadtrip early next year, should be heading past in Feb. What area of Calapan? I keep seeing you on hills with a view but can't seem to find that on google maps.
The hills side is in Calapan is xevera and another past the pier . And safe travels enjoy. I haven't yet done a longer trip with my scooter after the move I may plan one . Thanks for watching 👀
Thanks for asking I will be doing more budget videos as they do change depending on location and types of foods . I will also be sharing the costs and details of the upcoming move to another island Again thanks for watching 👀
Right in the beginning of the video as I am walking into the apt you can see where I have the thumb nail Pic from its from inside my yard just before the cement wall . :)
Thank you 😊 I did make a video on best ways to find some rental deals and gave a little explanation on how this one came about . Thank you for watching 👀
Good move man... doing it yourself and find out exactly how it's done through to the end... it really is that easy and not get intimidated of doing paper works in Philippines. Best way to educate yourself of the laws too. Take care and God Bless.
Thank you for the very nice message, and yes I think your right it's best way to learn and get involved more how things work here . Thank you for watching 👀
Yes fantastic point it's not so much the quality as more the size I can't find ( maybe besides Manila) a good comfortable fit of 12 to 13 is my size ...and nothing worse then a uncomfortable shoe while hiking or just walking about . Thanks for watching 👀
@budmccaff550 sorry delay answer actually here I am not sure if Amazon works it didn't last year but they have there own type lazada and shoppe and good price and cod but for clothing and shoes I think I rather see before buy
For that price you can afford to make some improvements to the place, but then I would negotiate a long term contract with a stipulation that the rent will not go up.
Yes ...although some special items like cheese 🧀 and deli or imported foods etc can cost more here then home ( Canada) But for sure over all much cheaper. Thanks for watching 👀
@@brians_life_compass we were just down in Leduc and Port Perry, Ontario and wow the prices.! I much prefer the food in the philippines than here in Canada.
Watched a lot of Philippines content lately. Liked the few vids of yours I watched so far, they seem quite practical and I like that you keep them pretty short. Good luck with your channel, it is better than many!
I am going to dumaguete actually here in Calapan lots is very convenient and much easier to get to Manila. But for me personally I enjoy having more daily adventures as in going to hot springs..water falls ..beach ..exploring mountains and sadly that is lacking here in comparison I will be paying more for rent and for a smaller place but it's something I feel worth it .
The house seeems to have good dimensions.... I have seen many apartments on youtube where the bedroom is no bigger than a closet.... This house has much better spaces.... Goood job... That would be a very suitable place to live and you could easily set it up nicer for comfort... I would never pay more than $200.00 dollars for places i have seen in dumagute or cebu... real dumps there... You did well...
Thank you ...yes it's actually great size for the price and the mess is mine as I am dealing with moving . I am going to dumaguete area as I was there few years back and my passion is daily adventures ..hot springs..water falls .beach .mountains and there is much more of this there so after 2 years here decided on a move Thanks for watching 👀
Thanks for this video. Nice space. Excellent price. Arrived from Canada a month ago. Been cooped up in Metro Manila since then but will soon venture. I've read that this island is the King of brown outs. Is that true? But the mangos make up for that!
Welcome here I am from Canada as well .. yes some parts are very bad for brown outs I am in Calapan it's not as bad but still can be a pain at times ..in the past 2 years here it's never been out long enough to stress over tho . I don't mind Manila for about a week at a time it's fantastic on new years rent a hotel with roof top pool and watch the fire works Good luck on your adventure Thanks for watching 👀
@@brians_life_compass I never been, I showed my girl your video and she like the unit, was thinking to visit to check it out after Boracay. How's life over there?
