People have been saying the same thing about the B-52 for decades. Remember, having the bombers penetrate into defended airspace is no longer necessary. Now, the bombers act as mobile, missile launching platforms far from the action - just like our ballistic missile subs.
The F22 despite its age remains the most advanced fighter jet in history. The F35 (while advanced in comparison to most other aircraft) is watered down from the F22's technical advancement in nearly every manner. Hence the reason the F22 was never allowed to be sold to any nation besides the US, the F35 is sold to many nations because it is not as powerful as the F22. Despite initial production cost estimates, it turned out to be substantially more expensive than the superior F22.
An old designer's maxim goes, "If it looks good, then it is good." The F-35's ugliness and technical deficiencies confirms the exact opposite of this maxim. The grossly huge amounts of US taxpayer's money wasted on this heap of junk, has proved however to be a profitable bonus for the shareholders in the arms racket responsible for its creation. That was the purpose all along.

They did. It was the cost. Cost and being told to reduce the costs are causing a low number to be produced because the manufacture fears the program could be cut. They want to limit their exposure, but in turn this drives up the per unit cost making it a higher risk. Does seem like a fairly low effort video put together by AI and a lame robot voice.

@@JamesBird-tp8bh As I know, a number of unemplotyed Canadian engineers found jobs in the US because their own country couldn't afford them, and after years hard work resulted in nothing better than airplane that flew as fast as airplanes that had flown in other countries years earlier, and carried inferior weapons.

Pretty typical of Arrow fans - a generalized statement of the plane's superiority that ignores the existence of aircraft that were at least as good in terms of flying at least as fast and carrying the same weapons. Literally mentioned over a half-dozen aircraft that easily outmacthed it. Even the F-105, which wasn't even a fighter, and had flown years earlier, was longer rsanged, faster and could carry Sidewinder missiles. Supporters of Arrow claim that the plane's low speed was due to Americans with lower thrust. The P&W J75 had a lower engine rating, and were heavier, but the overall fifference in thrust-to-weight ratio was minimal, about the same for an F-106, which was clearly faster.

The F-35 alone is not what everyone should be looking at. It's the combination of the F-22 & F-35 working together that counts. Just like the P-51/P-47 worked well together in WWII dominance.
