I have yet to see a Sita collector with a brush I have seen them drop rubbish on the road and is just left their so although I agree with what you do it isn't quite true
+Samuelfindlay The library is in Yate shopping centre. The stretch of water MIGHT be what is in front of UWE's Frenchay Campus [based on (1) the study-related titles which quickly flash beforehand, (2) the young person reading, (3) the general outline of the water].
Still waiting on Old Sarum, Salisbury to be done. It's under 2mbps with regular drop outs. The rest of Salisbury has Virgin and BT (with Wiltshire Council's money) have been laying down fibre in the same areas that already have it before prioritising areas like mine where there is no fibre and speeds are 15 years out of date.
It's really nice that toddlers are doing it as well. I love forest school and i wish i had started forest school when i was 2! Im very proud to have an auntie who runs it. from orlaxx (nice music on the film too)
Ah, that's beautiful Ro! . Such a lovely video, great comments from people, super music and visually fab too. Really very special. Well done!! Love Jody xxxx
Yes Lucy, this is the London Olympic Torch Relay that travelled throughout the UK before ending its journey at the Olympic Stadium. It passed through South Gloucestershire on the 22/23 May 2012.
Looks like you are going to be unlucky Terry - Keevil is scheduled for the final stage of roll-out (early 2015)! A map showing the roll out plan can at found on the Wiltshire Online website (I tried to post a link - but this was blocked by RU-vid)
So, we are promised that "94 per cent of homes and businesses in South Gloucestershire (will see) speeds above 24 Mbps and up to 80 Mbps by the end of March, 2016". That will be great for those in the 94%, if it ever transpires. Tell us NOW where the other 6% of us live, so that we can make alternative arrangements of our own, please. Having a default promise of 2 Mbps is pathetic - it isn't even enough to use iPlayer on standard definition.
Very pleased to hear about the proposed improvement to broadband speeds. I hope that the improvement will apply to all telephone line broadband providers, not just BT.
Thanks for getting back. Is there any chance of Keevil being in the first phase area, as I'd love to sign up for the BT Infinity service as soon as possible. Thanks, Terry
I'd be really interested in seeing the rollout schedule by date/location/service type (FTTH/FTTC). When can this be made available? Also, if say for a location, the default service is to be FTTC, how could an upgrade to FTTH be considered? Thanks, Terry
Professionally done, slick, but sadly, not very informative. I wonder whether the money would have been better spent taking fibre to a few more rural households?
