Last time I went motorbike camping it was winter, south of Sydney, and in the minus temperature range... freezing cold. This looks just a little more pleasant. 😃 Have you heard of On Track Meals? You don't need water, they come with a heat pack that activates and cooks the food. They have some good reviews.
This camp was quite warm, we are not that lucky to have those sort of temperatures here in Queensland, maybe very rarely but it never lasts long. I haven’t heard of On Track meals, but I’ll check them out now, thanks for sharing that, thanks for watching too. 🤩
Thank you 🤩 I bet you’re pumped for your camp, I would love to get to the UK and experience camping there, plus experience watching a EPL football match in person again. 😊
Another relaxing episode in a beautiful location. I’ve just sold my campervan and bought a car and tent. Head off in a couple of weeks. Hoping I find this much peace and tranquility.
4 by 4 & adventure more use Ur tent & table but not 4 by 4 been @ a job 2day 11 hrs shift came home and watched Sb wilder good guy then ur video 2 dogs SB wilder has a wicked dog like bear called Roxy if I didn't do my trade id get 1 my trade supports my camping I work part time as a Crowd Safety officer and get uni credit tried full time never worked looking forward 2 camp in 4 weeks time test out my new Hidewalker teepee hot tent without the stove should have more room and am travelling 2 South Wales 2 see family might live there 2
The table and tent are great products. I’ve tried a few products that I haven’t liked, one being the table I had before my new table, it didn’t have adjustable legs so items would roll off, I sold that plus other camping items off that I no longer use. I hope you enjoy yourself on your camping trip to south wales, beautiful area that I’ve seen, only been to Chepstow Castle though.
I find myself drawn more and more to channels with vlogs that have little to no chatter… there’s enough noise in the world. The simplicity of setting up camp and enjoying nature is so calming and peaceful. Beautiful location!
Thank you for watching 🙏. Yeah, there’s something calming about watching camping videos with nature sounds and camp set up 😀 I’m happy that you enjoyed my video.
The gums coffee, do some amazing coffee, including the coffee drop bags, definitely try some. Made in Victoria I'm fairly certain. It's always in my camping kit.
Thank you for that recommendation. I had a look for drip bags on the Internet but it’s hard to gage what it tastes like just looking at a picture. I’ll check those ones out. ☕️
Thank you very much for watching 🤩 Unfortunately the tent is rubbish, it was used by of the kids for school, it was cheap and not very good. If you check out my other videos after this one I’ve updated to better tents that didn’t cost a lot.
Thanks bud 🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻 The chair is called Tarka Portable Camping Chair, I got mine off AliExpress for about $80. If you get onto AliExpress and look make sure you look at the postage before the price, some places wanna charge you quite a bit. Hope that helps. Also I haven’t had any troubles with it yet.
Good video I bought my teepee hot tent and ground sheet from Hidewalker got the ground sheet and bought a skillet with a lid saw a video on U tube some1 made fresh pizza in a pan using a lid!! Lookin forward 2 camp!!
Thank you. You’ have to let me know how your teepee hot tent camping goes, I’ve been looking at the teepee tents, thinking that would be a good idea for a video.
Thank you 🤩, I was stuck out there for 2 1/2 days. I didn’t want to risk driving through some of the crossings, especially since I don’t have the proper set up on the Ute. I made it home safely in the end 🙏
Thank you very much 🙏, I use the Sony A7siii camera with a 20mm lens. For the night shots I use the 500 rule. 500 divided by your focal length (mine is 20mm), that gives me 25 sec. I set to manual exposure, AWB, Multi meter set to 0.0, you could probably mess around with the Aperture, I set mine to 1.8f as that’s the lowest my lens goes and then I set up my interval shooting in my menu, that looks like, 5 sec start time so I don’t bump the camera, 30 sec overall between start of shot and start of next shot - (25 sec for the actual shot and 5 sec more before the next shot), I’d make it longer like an extra 15 sec but I’d be up all night waiting for the shots to end, and the last thing I do is tell the camera how many shots to do, I’ve got it set to 250 shots all up, that’s about 2hrs of shooting. Hope that helps.
That’s so cool, welcome and thank you for subscribing 🤗. This place is very safe, it’s out of the way, so there wouldn’t be anyone coming in unannounced.
Mate, only came across you tonight. Another Qlder putting out great content. Any bloke who has his dog with you, is alright by me. I’ve liked and now subscribe 👍
Thanks for watching 🤩 100% agreed, got to have a beer 🍺 at some stage of set up. Oh boy, don’t love the mosquitos while camping, but now it’s cooling down they’ll be gone, so I’m looking forward to camping during winter.
I reckon a shaped trap are the most useless things they ever invented, there is just to much unusable space and more places for the rain and sun to get in, in my humble opinion you can't beat a square tarp, you have a lot more options with them.
Thanks for watching 🙏 I sort of agree, I got that style tarp because I liked that fact that I could put the Ute under it, but there is definitely wasted space with the tail, but I think if you had a teepee style tent it would fit perfectly at that point of the tarp. I would like to get a rectangle tarp one day.
Thank you, now I follow 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. Our rule here is anything you take in you also take back out. Az, is that Arizona? Yeah I could understand stand why no glass allowed in camp there.
Thanks for watching 🤩 Totally agree, it was lovely listening to the rain, and I did enjoy my skewers, 1st time I’ve ever done them, will definitely do them again.
Depends on where you are from, I got my portable fire pit and hot plate with centre pole from Adventure Kings. It’s great, you can set up anywhere. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Did U make use of the shower and dunny?? When I go camping I stay at campsites with a shower and toilet I'm going camping in 2days time!! 4 charity too and testing out lots of new kit I got and I got d same lanterns as I looking forward 2 using them
Thanks for watching 🤩, I used the toilet but not the bath or shower. I’m self sufficient, and I usually take my own toilet, but it’s always nice when I don’t have to take it when the sites have a toilet there. Let me know how you find your lanterns, mine don’t last long, but mind you I did get them cheap off AliExpress 🤣
Thank you 😀, it was a great spot. It’s on the Brisbane River close to Fernvale in southern Queensland. You can find it on Hipcamp, and yes you can stay there overnight. 👍
